William Jarrett Oliver, 56, of Marbury, MD passed away on September 24, 2015 at Washington Hospital Center, Washington, DC.

William was born in La Plata, MD on December 15, 1958 to the late Clarence Oliver, Sr. and Mary Murphy Oliver. William is survived by his significant other of over 25 years, Susan Morgan; daughter, Michelle Lynn Bowie (William); brothers, Clarence Eugene "Buck" Oliver, Jr. and Albert Randolph Oliver; sisters, Mary Edna Kellum and Lucy Darlene Grinder; and three grandchildren, Tyler, Jacob and Leah.

William was a lifetime resident of Charles County. He graduated from La Plata High School in 1976 and became a Heavy Equipment Operator employed by Aggregate Industries. William enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing cards in his spare time.

The Family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM, with Prayers at 7:00 PM at Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, 211 St. Mary's Ave., La Plata, MD. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 201 St. Mary's Ave., La Plata, MD; Interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery, 8000 Woodyard Rd., Clinton, MD.
