Ingrid E. Nylander, of Nanjemoy, Maryland passed away on August 30, 2015 at the age of 69. Ingrid worked as a Safety Officer for the Charles County Board of Education of 20 plus years where she later retired. She served as a volunteer at the Cobb Island Fire Department and EMS. She enjoyed drinking her coffee and traveling to new places. Her pride and joy was her dog Ginger.

Ingrid is preceded in death by her son Robert J. Brooks, Jr. She is survived by her son Donald Brooks; companion Robert Brooks, Sr.; brothers Donald Rose and Tommy Wylder and grandchildren Jonathan and Sean Brooks.

A memorial gathering will be held at the Huntt Funeral Home, 3035 Old Washington Road, Waldorf, Maryland 20601 on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 from 11am to 12:30pm with a memorial service to begin at 12:30pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Cobb Island Fire Department and EMS at P.O. Box 156, Cobb Island, Maryland 20625. Arrangements provided by Huntt Funeral Home.
