Catherine Adell Gaylor, 80, of Waldorf, MD, passed away at Bridge Point Hospital in Washington, D.C. on June 20, 2015. Born September 11, 1934 in Washington, D.C. she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Lottie (Lancaster) Conway.

Catherine grew up in Southeast, DC. Throughout her life, some of Catherine's employment included the P.G. County School System and the Days Inn in Waldorf, MD. She was an avid Redskins fan, enjoyed gardening with her plants and flowers and socializing with her neighbors. Her family meant the world to her and Catherine was a vibrant outgoing life force that touched many people.

She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond S. Gaylor, Jr.; daughter, Peggy R. Gaylor; sisters, Rose Adams, Jean Gray, Joan Goodwin, and brothers, Eugene Conway, Russell Conway and James Conway. Catherine is survived by her sons, Michael A. Gaylor (Diane), Perry C. Gaylor (Susan); daughter, Tracy L. Cantrell; grandson she raised, Christian Gaylor(Dawn); sister, Ann Gordon; grandchildren, Jamie Jackson, Kristin Rios, Brandon Gaylor, Brittany Gaylor, Samantha Gaylor, Michael Gaylor, Jr. and great grandchildren, Braxton Clay, Graysen Gaylor, Salvatore Merone and Gabriel Rios.

The family will receive friends for Catherine's Life Celebration on Friday, June 26, 2015 from 10:00am – 12:00p.m. at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD. A Funeral Service will follow at 12:00p.m. at Brinsfield-Echols. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3221 Mattawoman Beantown Road, Waldorf, MD 20601.
