Vernon Chester Monday, Jr., of Waldorf, Maryland died on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata. He was 58 years old.

Visitation on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 from 1PM to 4PM and from 6PM to 8PM with Fireman's Prayers at 7PM at New Life Church, 9690 Shepherd's Creek Place, La Plata, MD 20646 where Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2015 beginning at 12Noon. Interment to follow at Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery.
