Mary Katherine (Kathy) Frey, 68 of La Plata, MD, passed away on May 7, 2015 in Waldorf, MD. Born March 1, 1947 in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Dae Howard Green and the late Edna Louella Greulich Green.

Ms. Frey was an Environmental Protection Specialist for 27 years. She was employed by the Department of the Navy Public Works Naval Support Facility. She was a devout Catholic and member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Plata, MD. She was a loving mother and grandmother who placed importance on family.

She was predeceased by her siblings, John Green, Noella Ravas, Margaret Cashin, and her son, James Robert. She is survived by her daughters, Christine Franklin, Jennifer Edwards, Marie Cole, and Bridget Cash; and sister Patricia Bauer; and brother, Charles Green; and granddaughters, Constance and Sofia.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, May 14, 2015 from 6-8PM with a Prayer Service at Raymond Funeral Service Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD. Funeral Service and burial will take place at a later date at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brook Park, Ohio.
