Darryn J. Conte, 39, of Waldorf, MD died suddenly on April 26, 2015. Born in East Orange, NJ, he is the loving son of Elizabeth and Dennis A. Conte, Sr. of Waldorf, MD. At the tender age of 10, Darryn relocated from New Jersey with his family to Maryland where he resided until his untimely death.

Darryn graduated from Lackey High School, class of 1994. Right after high school Darryn became a letter carrier for the US Postal Service until he bought his own truck and became a long distance driver.

In his spare time Darryn loved being active and would often take his daughter with him. He enjoyed fishing, four wheeling, bowling, football and paintball, as well as a host of other sports. He shared his love for basketball with his daughter Cassidy and was an assistant coach for her basketball team.

In addition to his parents, Darryn is the loving father of Cassidy A. Conte of Waldorf, MD; devoted brother of Dennis A. (Veronica) Conte, Jr. of Middletown, DE, and David L. Mason, Sr. of Ft. Washington, MD; beloved uncle of Deona S. Conte and Dennis A. Conte, III of Middletown, DE and David L. Mason, Jr. of Ft. Washington, MD; dear nephew of Earl (Marie) Conte of FL, Melvin (Betty) Conte of NJ, Derrol Conte of NC, Lavern (Thomas) Peterson of FL, Phyllis (Howard) Newbill of NJ, Bessie Ward of VA, Ann (James) Mcleod of NC, Isiah Johnson of NJ, Joshua (Phyllis) Johnson of NC, Leroy Johnson of NJ and Tyrone Johnson of NJ. Also survived by a host of relatives and friends.

Darryn was loved by most who met him and we will all remember his beautiful smile, up beat personality and contagious laugh. We will forever miss him dearly.
