Roger Lewis Madden, born July 18, 1954 of Waldorf, Maryland died suddenly on January 23, 2015 at his home.

Roger was a proud and loving father to Kyle Madden and the son of the late Alfred Leroy Madden, Sr. and Mary Frances Madden.

Roger was the owner of "A Room at a Time" with a passion for carpentry and viewed his business as an opportunity to improve the lives of others. He loved spending time with his family and was the life of every gathering. Laughter and smiles followed Roger wherever he went. He was a friend to many and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He will be missed tremendously.

In addition to his father, Roger is preceded in death by his sister, Linda Ann Novak and aunt, Gladys Greene. In addition to his mother Mary and son Kyle, he is survived by his daughter-in-law Erin; Kyle's mother, Susan Madden; his brother Leroy Madden;sister-in-law Pattie; his sister Donna Rinaldo;brother-in-law Ray; his uncles, Richard Settle and wife Sheila; Moffett Settle and wife Grace; Gilbert Settle and wife Brenda; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at First Baptist Church of Waldorf, 10045 Bunker Hill Road, Waldorf, MD 20603 on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Baptist Church of Waldorf (www.fbcwaldorf.org). Arrangements provided by Huntt Funeral Home.
