Danny Irvin Hagelin, 56, of Lusby, MD passed away on December 7, 2014 at MedStar St. Mary's Hospital. Born August 11, 1958 in Prince Frederick, MD he was the son of the late Edward Hoover Hagelin, Sr. and Bertie Mae (Hall) Hagelin who preceded him in death two days prior on December 5, 2014.

Danny was a warehouse manager for Direct Mail for thirty two years. He was a Washington Redskins fan and enjoyed antiques. He was an avid Coca Cola memorabilia collector.

Danny is survived by his daughter, Jocelyn D. Weiss (Michael) of Huntingtown, MD; his grandchildren, Kaylee and Evan Weiss; siblings, Ron Hagelin (Sally) of LaFayette, LA, Ed Hagelin (Doris) of Lusby, MD, Debbie Doyle (Bobby) of Gaithersburg, MD, Dorothy Stonestreet of Prince Frederick, MD, Sharon Wilson (John) of Lusby, MD and Randy Hagelin (Regina) of Lusby, MD; three uncles; and two aunts.

Family will receive friends for Danny and his mother Bertie on Thursday, December 11, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Rausch Funeral Home, 20 American Lane, Lusby, MD 20657. A funeral service will be held for Danny and his mother Bertie on Friday, December 12, 2014 at Rausch Funeral Home, Lusby, MD at 10:00 a.m. Interment for Danny will follow in Middleham Chapel Episcopal Church Cemetery, Lusby, MD. Interment for Bertie will follow Danny's interment in Southern Memorial Gardens, Dunkirk, MD.
