The Southern Maryland Youth Flag Football League (SMYFFL) is southern Maryland's premier Youth Flag Football League. We are based out of White Plains Maryland located in Charles County, and sponsored by the NFL (National Football League) and affiliated with the AAU (Amateur Athletic Union). We run both a Spring and Fall season with the opportunity in the Fall to play for a National Championship in Orlando Florida which is televised on ESPN. It is designed to educate young people about football while emphasizing participation and sportsmanship. Players will learn skills and lessons that help them succeed both on and off the field. It is open to All Boys and Girls ages 5-17. This five-on-five game is recognizable to football fans everywhere.
