WASHINGTON (June 10, 2022)—The U.S. Department of Defense recently announced the following contract awards that pertain to local Navy activities.

Textron Systems Corp., Hunt Valley, Maryland, is awarded a $12,348,580 firm-fixed-price modification (P00003) to an order (N0001921F0315) against a previously issued basic ordering agreement (N0001921G0008). This modification exercises an option to provide continued unmanned aircraft systems intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance data collection support services for the Department of Defense, other government agencies, and domestic and overseas contingency operations. Work will be performed in Hunt Valley, Maryland (20%); and various locations outside the continental U.S. (80%), and is expected to be completed in June 2023. Fiscal 2022 operation and maintenance (Navy) funds in the amount of $12,348,580 will be obligated at time of award, all of which will expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Boeing Co., St. Louis, Missouri, is awarded a $39,680,239 firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee modification (P00001) to a previously awarded contract (N0001921C0001). This modification exercises an option to procure 63 Distributed Targeting Processor—Networked (DTP-N) B-kits (32 for the Navy and 31 for the government of Australia); and 56 DTP-N A1-kits (32 for the Navy and 24 for the government of Australia), as well as DTP-N cyber security support data deliveries in support of DTP-N full rate production to implement anti-surface warfare capability in the F/A-18E/F and EA-18G aircraft. Work will be performed in St Louis, Missouri, and is expected to be completed in September 2024. Fiscal 2022 aircraft procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $20,738,550; and Foreign Military Sales funds in the amount of $18,941,689 will be obligated at the time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Lockheed Martin Corp., Missile and Fire Control, Orlando, Florida, is awarded a $31,993,851 cost-plus-fixed-fee order (N0001922F0010) against a previously issued basic ordering agreement (N0001919G0011). This order provides for Long Range Anti-Ship Missile (LRASM) AGM-158C-2 development, integration, and testing in support of providing a combined Anti-Surface Warfare (ASuW), LRASM, and Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM) strike capability for the Navy. Work will be performed in Orlando, Florida (90%); and Troy, Alabama (10%), and is expected to be completed in July 2024. Fiscal 2022 research, development, test and development (Navy) funds in the amount of $11,400,000 will be obligated at the time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

Insitu Inc., Bingen, Washington, is awarded a $15,762,976 firm-fixed-price modification (P00004) to an order (N0001921F0854) against a previously issued basic ordering agreement (N0001921G0007). This modification adds scope to increase situational awareness relative to the electronic warfare payload capability spectrum and operating environment. Additionally, this modification exercises an option to provide continued unmanned aircraft systems intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance data collection support services for the Department of Defense, other government agencies, and domestic and overseas contingency operations. Work will be performed in Bingen, Washington (20%); and various undisclosed locations outside the continental U.S. (80%), and is expected to be completed in October 2023. Fiscal 2022 operation and maintenance (Navy) funds in the amount of $15,762,976 will be obligated at time of award, all of which will expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

Venturedyne Ltd., Pewaukee, Wisconsin, is awarded a $9,995,971 firm-fixed price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity five-year contract for environmental conditioning testing chambers in support of the Navy's energetic/explosive material division. The work will be performed in Holland, Michigan, and is expected to be completed by June 2027. Fiscal 2022 capital improvement program funding of $447,700 will be obligated on the first task order at time of award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract is being awarded on a sole-source basis in accordance with 10 U.S. Code 3204(a)(1)—only one responsible source will satisfy agency requirements. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division, Indian Head, Maryland, is the contracting activity (N00174-22–D-0008).
