WASHINGTON (May 6, 2022)—The U.S. Department of Defense recently announced the following contract awards that pertain to local Navy activities.

Lockheed Martin Corp., Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Fort Worth, Texas is awarded a $372,461,030 undefinitized firm-fixed-price modification (P00003) to an order (N0001921F0398) against a previously issued basic ordering agreement (N0001919G0008). This modification adds scope to procure F-35 Lightning II Lots 15-16 ancillary mission equipment requirements for the Air Force, Navy, and Marine Corps. Additionally, this modification adds scope to procure F-35 Lightning II initial spares for the Air Force, Navy, and Marine Corps, Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers, and non-U.S Department of Defense (DOD) participants. Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas, and is expected to be completed in December 2024. Fiscal 2022 aircraft procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $116,596,160; fiscal 2021 aircraft procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $49,860,712; fiscal 2020 aircraft procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $11,732,939; fiscal 2020 aircraft procurement (Air Force) funds in the amount of $ 90,680,424; FMS funds in the amount of $2,067,174; and non-U.S. DOD participant funds in the amount of $3,483,749 will be obligated at the time of award, $92,413,363 of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

Lockheed Martin Corp., Archbald, Pennsylvania, is awarded a $19,299,216 firm-fixed-price modification (P00017) to a previously awarded contract (N0001917C0022). This modification exercises an option to procure 4,998 Bomb Dummy Units (BDU)-59B/B laser guided training rounds and production support of 1,666 metal containers. Work will be performed in Archbald, Pennsylvania (45%); Marlton, New Jersey (10%); Vaudreuil-Dorion, Canada (6.5%); Rochester, New York (5.5%); Westford, Massachusetts (3%); Plainville, Connecticut (2.75%); Joplin, Missouri (2.75%); Hauppauge, New York (1.5%); Quakertown, Pennsylvania (1.5%); San Jose, California (1.5 %); Laconia, New Hampshire (1.5%); Dunedin, Florida (1%); Clifton, New Jersey (1%); Londonderry, New Hampshire (1%); Canton, Pennsylvania (1%); Honesdale, Pennsylvania (1%); Mount Laurel, New Jersey (1%); Medford, New Jersey (1%); and various locations within the continental U.S. (11.5%), and is expected to be completed in January 2024. Fiscal 2022 procurement of ammunition (Navy/Marine Corps) funds in the amount of $16,350,844; and fiscal 2021 procurement of ammunition (Navy/Marine Corps) funds in the amount of $2,948,372 will be obligated at the time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., a Lockheed Martin Co., Stratford, Connecticut, is awarded a $12,300,000 firm-fixed-price modification (P00008) to a previously awarded contract (N0001920C0047). This modification exercises an option to provide production system engineering and program management support in support of CH-53K low-rate initial production. Work will be performed in Stratford, Connecticut, and is expected to be completed in May 2023. Fiscal 2022 aircraft procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $12,300,000 will be obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
