Local Navy Contract Awards; April 25-29, 2022

WASHINGTON (April 30, 2022)—The U.S. Department of Defense recently announced the following contract awards that pertain to local Navy activities.

Contracts For April 25, 2022

Alliant Techsystems Operations LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector, Northridge, California, is awarded a $62,076,093 firm-fixed-price modification (P00004) to a previously awarded contract (N0001921C0044). This modification exercises options for the production and delivery of an additional 42 Air-to-Ground Missile-88G Advanced Anti-Radiation Guided Missile-Extended Range all up rounds, as well as manufacturing supplies and support. Work will be performed in Northridge, California (61%); Rocket Center, West Virginia (32%); and Ridgecrest, California (7%), and is expected to be completed in December 2024. Fiscal 2022 weapons procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $53,550,520; fiscal 2022 research, development, test and evaluation (Navy) funds in the amount of $6,295,132; and fiscal 2021 weapons procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $2,230,441 will be obligated at the time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland is the contracting activity.

Dayton T. Brown Inc., Bohemia, New York, is awarded a $14,921,893 cost-plus-fixed-fee, cost reimbursable contract. This contract provides for continued development of mobile mission system variants, to include roll out for P-8 modernization, prototyping and modification for rapid mission specific system reconfiguration, test and operational deployment, maintenance, repair, refurbishment, logistics support, and procurement of associated materials for sustainment of units. Work will be performed in Hollywood, Maryland (95%); and Bohemia, New York (5%), and is expected to be completed in April 2023. Fiscal 2022 research, development, test, and evaluation (Navy) funds in the amount of $5,288,881 will be obligated at the time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured pursuant to 10 U.S. Code 2304(c)(1). The Naval Air Warfare Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity (N0042122C0022).

Lockheed Martin Corp., Fort Worth, Texas, is awarded a $93,012,415 undefinitized modification (P00014) to a previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (N0001919C0074). This modification adds scope to procure special tooling and test equipment in support of electronic warfare capabilities for F-35 Lightning II low rate initial production for the Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers, and non-U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) participants. Work will be performed in Nashua, New Hampshire (99%); and Baltimore, Maryland (1%), and is expected to be completed in November 2024. Fiscal 2022 aircraft procurement (Air Force) funds in the amount of $12,485,390; fiscal 2022 aircraft procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $12,485,390; and non-U.S. DOD participant funds in the amount of $20,605,302 will be obligated at the time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Contracts For April 29, 2022

Bell Boeing Joint Project Office, Amarillo, Texas, is awarded a $302,152,612 modification (P00053) to a previously awarded fixed-price incentive (firm target), cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (N0001917C0015) for the production and delivery of four MV-22B variation in quantity aircraft for the Marine Corps. Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas (30.08%); Ridley Park, Pennsylvania (15.22%); Amarillo, Texas (12.73%); Red Oak, Texas (3.33%); East Aurora, New York (2.55%); Park City, Utah (2.20%); McKinney, Texas (1.33%); Endicott, New York (1.15%); various locations within the continental U.S. (27.49%); and various locations outside the continental U.S. (3.92%), and is expected to be completed in November 2025. Fiscal 2022 aircraft procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $302,152,612 will be obligated at the time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

Lockheed Martin Corp., Fort Worth, Texas, is awarded a $31,508,022 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract. This contract provides maintenance and sustainment operations of the Australia, Canada and United Kingdom Reprogramming Laboratory facilities and systems, to include consumables and field service representative support. Additionally, this contract provides surrogate encryptions support for the Norway Italy Reprogramming Lab. These efforts are in support of the F-35 Lightning II programs non-U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) participants. Work will be performed in Eglin, Florida (80%); and Fort Worth, Texas (20%), and is expected to be completed in April 2027. Non-U.S. DOD participants funds in the amount of $31,405,066 will be obligated at the time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured pursuant to 10 U.S. Code 2304(c)(1). The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity (N0001922C0046).
