LEONARDTOWN, Md. (June 01, 2017)—The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

RESISTING ARREST: On May 15, 2017 at 1103 p.m., TPR J. Mulhearn conducted a traffic stop on Rt 235 @ FDR Boulevard. The driver of vehicle, Kerry Joseph Woods, Jr., 20, of Lexington Park, refused to comply with TPR Mulhearn's requests and sped away from the location. A vehicle pursuit ensued and ended at Port Court, Lexington Park. Mr. Woods still refused to obey verbal commands and was subsequently removed from his vehicle and placed under arrest for multiple traffic offenses, eluding police, and resisting arrest. He was transported to St. Mary's County Detention Center. (17-MSP-020305)

ACCIDENT: On May 17, 2017 at 403 p.m., TFC B. Ditoto responded to the area of Livingston Drive, Mechanicsville for a reported single vehicle accident. Upon arrival, TFC B. Ditoto observed a vehicle off of the roadway and in the trees. The driver was unconscious and drug paraphernalia was observed in plain view. TFC B. Ditoto and TPR Holson provided immediate aide to the driver, who was later identified as Jesse Patrick Goble, 27, of Mechanicsville. Mr. Goble later admitted he ingested heroin. Mr. Goble was transported to Medstar St. Mary's for medical treatment. He was released from Medstar and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and charged with Driving while impaired by CDS; CDS Possession and Possession of CDS Paraphernalia. THEFT: On May 19, 2017 @ 1900 hours, TFC B. Ditoto responded to 21000 block of Suburban Drive, Lexington Park, for a report of a theft of a lawn mower. Upon arrival, contact was made with the complainant who advised that the lock on her shed was cut off and her lawn mower was missing. Investigation continues. (17-MSP-020914)
