4/26/2017

BURGLARY: Unknown suspect(s) entered an unlocked office at Holy Angels Church in Coltons Point and pried open a safe. The safe was empty and nothing was stolen. Corporal Handy is investigating the case. CASE# 22082-17

BREAKING AND ENTERING TO MOTOR VEHICLES: Unknown suspect(s) entered multiple motor vehicles and stole property in the 22000 block of FDR Boulevard in Lexington Park. Deputy Davis is investigating the case. CASE# 22081-17, 22098-17, 22036-17, and 22030-17

BURGLARY: Unknown suspect(s) entered a residence and stole property in the 23000 block of Mervell Dead Road in Hollywood. Deputy Robinson is investigating the case. CASE# 22072-17

4/29/2017

THEFT: Unknown suspect(s) reached into a victim's motor vehicle and stole the victim's purse at the Cheseldine Car Wash in California. Corporal Seyfried is investigating the case. CASE# 22767-1

BURGLARY TO MOTOR VEHICLE: Unknown suspect(s) entered a motor vehicle and stole property in the 22000 block of St. John's Circle in Great Mills. Corporal Seyfried is investigating the case. CASE# 22800-17

BURGLARIES: Unknown suspect(s) entered dorm rooms at St. Mary's College and stole property. The cases are being investigated by Corporal Vezzosi. CASE# 22808-17,22792-17, and 22806-17

4/30/2017

RECOVERED PROPERTY: Officers working a special event in Leonardtown observed a motorcycle in the water near the wharf. The Department of Natural Resources was called to assist in the investigation. Deputy J. Davis is continuing the investigation. CASE# 22958-1

BURGLARY: During the overnight hours of 4/30 into 5/1, unknown suspect(s) made entry into Dennis Point Marina in Drayden and stole property. Deputy Beyer is investigating the case. CASE# 23108-17

BURGLARY: Unknown suspect(s) entered a residence in the 40000 block Old Horse Landing Road in Mechanicsville. Deputy Henry is investigating the case. CASE# 23622-17

BURGLARY TO MOTOR VEHICLE: Unknown suspect(s) entered a motor vehicle in the 22000 block of Alydar Drive in California. There were no signs of forced entry. Deputy Smith is investigating the case. CASE# 23704-17

SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY: A complaint reported a juvenile was walking home from Greenview Knolls Elementary School when a purple van pulled up and instructed the juvenile to get in the vehicle. The suspect commented they knew the child's mother. The juvenile then ran home and told their mother. The information was forwarded to School Resource Officers for follow-up. CASE#23742-17

BURGLARY: Unknown suspect(s) entered a residence and stole property in the 21000 block of Bristol Lane in Lexington Park. Corporal Vezzosi is investigating the case.

BREAKING AND ENTERING TO A MOTOR VEHICLE: Unknown suspect(s) entered a motor vehicle in the 38000 block of Caroline Court in Avenue and stole property sometime between 4/6/2017 and 5/4/2017. Corporal Johnson is investigating the case. CASE# 23926-17

BURGLARY: While the school was closed, Unknown suspect(s) entered Dynard Elementary School in Chaptico. No damage was caused to the school. Corporal Johnson is investigating the case. CASE# 23953-17

BURGLARY: During the overnight hours of 5/5 into 5/6, unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the front entrance of the guard shack and stole property at Myrtle Point Park in California. Deputy First Class Gaskill is investigating the case. CASE# 24015-17

5/9/2017

COUNTERFEIT COMPLAINT: Deputy Bowie responded to the 21000 block of Great Mills Road and made contact with an individual who advised an unknown woman entered a store and presented a $100 bill and asked if it was real. The bill was identified as a counterfeit, and the woman the left the store. Deputy Bowie is investigating the case. CASE# 24391-17

BURGLARY: Unknown suspect(s) entered a residence and stole property in the 48000 block of Park Pines Drive in Lexington Park. Deputy Smith is investigating the case. CASE# 24723-17

PROPERTY DESTRUCTION: During the overnight hours, an unknown vehicle drove through off-road areas at Nicolet Park in Lexington Park causing damage to several fields. Lt. Jones is investigating the case. CASE# 25085-17

BURGLARY: During the overnight hours, unknown suspect(s) entered a barn and stole property in the 45000 block of Drayden Road in Valley Lee. Deputy Davis is investigating the case. CASE# 25429-17

5/16/2017

BURGLARY: Unknown suspect(s) entered a residence and stole property in the 45000 block of Longfields Village Drive in California. The case is being investigated by Deputy D. Potter. CASE# 25648-17

BURGLARY: Unknown suspect(s) forced entry into a residence and stole property in the 30000 block of Mt. Wolf Way in Charlotte Hall. Corporal Flerlage is investigating the case. CASE#25731-17

BURGLARY: Unknown suspect(s) forced entry into a residence in the 26000 block of Wakefield Lane in Mechanicsville. Nothing appeared to be missing or stolen. Cpl. Flerlage is investigating the case. CASE# 26539-17

BURGLARY: During the evening of May 18, unknown suspect(s) entered a garage and stole property in the 22000 block of Point Lookout Road in Leonardtown. Dep. McClure is investigating the case. CASE# 26575-15

5/21/2017

Between 5/17 and 5/21, unknown suspect(s) entered a garage and stole property in the 21000 block of Pegg Road in Lexington Park. Dep. Bare is investigating the case. CASE# 26821-17

BURGLARY: Unknown suspect(s) entered "On Your Own" located in the 41000 block of Fenwick Street in Leonardtown. There were no signs of forced entry. Cpl. Flerlage is investigating the case. CASE# 26700-17

PROPERTY DESTRUCTION: At approximately 11:10 p.m., Cpl. Johnson was traveling southbound on Chaptico Road in the area of Timothy Court when something struck his driver's side hood and front windshield. When Cpl. Johnson pulled over and examined the vehicle, he found eggs had been thrown at his patrol car. His efforts to locate the suspects were unsuccessful. Cpl. Johnson is continuing the investigation.

BURGLARY: Unknown suspect(s) attempted to enter an outside storage shed at Sweet Frog in California, Maryland. It does not appear the suspects were able to gain entry and nothing was stolen from inside the storage shed. Dep. Bush is investigating the case. CASE# 26895-17

ANIMAL CRUELTY: The Sheriff's Office is investigating a reported incident where a complainant saw a social media post circulating on Facebook describing an incident that took place on May 19 near La Quinta Inn in California. According to the post, an individual witnessed a subject causing harm to a kitten. The case is being investigated by Cpl. J. Kirkner. CASE# 26876-17

BURGLARY: Unknown suspect(s) attempted to enter a residence in the 23000 block of Dahlia Circle in the Wildewood Neighborhood. DFC. Schultz is continuing the investigation. CASE# 27025-17

VANDALISM: A victim advised unknown suspect(s) shot at their window with a BB gun while they were driving in the area of Jay Dee Court in Great Mills. Cpl. Vezzosi is investigating the case. CASE# 27146-17

BURGLARY: Unknown suspect(s) entered a residence in the 21000 block of Windsor Drive in Lexington Park and stole property. Cpl. Worrey is investigating the case. CASE# 27256-17
