One Dead in Fort Washington Collision


UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (Nov. 23, 2016)—Police are investigating a fatal collision in Fort Washington. The victim is 30-year-old Jamon Beecham of Loughran Terrace in Fort Washington.

On Monday, November 21, around 8:40 am, patrol officers were called to the 13000 block of Old Fort Road for crash involving one vehicle. Officers found Beecham unresponsive inside of his SUV. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

The preliminary investigation reveals Beecham was traveling northbound on Old Fort Road, when for reasons which remain under investigation, he crossed into the southbound lane, left the roadway and ultimately came to a stop in a ravine.
