LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Aug. 26, 2016)—The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident and arrest reports.

SEXUAL SOLICITATION OF A MINOR: On August 22, patrol deputies responded to a private residence in Mechanicsville for a sex offense. The investigation was continued by detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division.

The investigation revealed over a period of time, Timothy Lee King II, age 30, of Oxon Hill, and a fourteen-year-old female exchanged a series of text messages that were sexual in nature. During their conversations, King solicited the juvenile to perform various sexual acts.

As a result of the investigation, King was charged via an arrest warrant for sexual solicitation of a minor, Fourth Degree Sex Offense—Sexual Contact, and Assault Second Degree. King was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center.

BREAKING AND ENTERING TO A MOTOR VEHICLE: Unknown suspect(s) entered a motor vehicle and stole property at MedStar St. Mary's Hospital. Deputy J. Smith is investigating. CASE# 43629-16

BURGLARY: Unknown suspect(s) entered the China II in Great Mills and stole property. Corporal J. Vezzosi is investigating the case. CASE# 43716-16
