PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (July 26, 2016)—The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.
THEFT: On 7/19/2016 at 5:49 pm, Trooper Kaitz responded to the Holiday Inn in Prince Frederick for a reported theft. Surveillance video revealed occupants going in and out of one of the hotel room had stolen the victim's property. Case remains open pending further investigation.
MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT, ASSAULT: On 7/23/2016 at 8:19 pm, Trooper First Class Lewis responded to Buckler Rd. in Huntingtown for a reported robbery in progress. The victim reported being assault by a subject during an arranged meeting in the 1300 block of Avery Rd. The victim was able to get away and run to Buckler Rd. to wait for police. Two subjects got into the victim's vehicle and sped away. Investigation revealed they had taken the victim's iPhone. The case remains open pending further investigation.
POSSESSION OF CRACK COCAINE & MARIJUANA: On 7/25/2016 at 6:43 pm, Trooper First Class Barlow stopped a vehicle on Rt. 4 south of Parkers Creek Rd in Port Republic for an equipment violation. A probable cause search was conducted based on the odor of marijuana. Sean Carr, 30, was found to be in possession of Crack Cocaine and Marijuana. He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
