Contracts Awarded Tuesday, July 19
Bell-Boeing Joint Project Office, Amarillo, Texas, is being awarded a $544,668,978 modification to the previously awarded fixed-price-incentive-firm target, Lot 17-21 multi-year contract (N00019-12-C-2001). This modification provides for the long lead production materials and the manufacture and delivery of four MV-22 tilt rotor aircraft pursuant to the variation in quantity clause in support of the government of Japan; as well as incorporation of an engineering change proposal for the standby flight display. Lockheed Martin Corp., Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $241,765,645 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-13-C-0008) for procurement of diminishing manufacturing sources electronic components. The modification will support aircraft production through Lot 15 for U.S. and international facilities for the F-35 Lightning II aircraft. Work will be performed in Burlington, Vermont (98 percent); and Fort Worth, Texas (2 percent), and is expected to be completed in December 2018. Fiscal 2014 aircraft procurement (Air Force, Navy); fiscal 2015 aircraft procurement (Marine Corps.); Foreign Military Sales and international partner funds in the amount of $181,516,494 are being obligated at time of award, $148,737,805 of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract combines purchases for the Air Force ($118,880,338; 49.17 percent); Marine Corps ($43,311,316; 17.91 percent); Navy ($30,091,791; 12.45 percent); foreign military sales customers ($23,053,873; 10.93 percent); and the international partners ($26,428,329; 9.54 percent) under the Foreign Military Sales program. The Boeing Co., Seattle, Washington, is being awarded a $100,423,110 modification to a previously awarded firm-price-incentive-firm-target contract (N00019-14-C-0067). This modification provides for long-lead parts and efforts associated with the manufacture of four full-rate production Lot 8 P-8A Multi-mission Maritime Aircraft for the government of Australia under a cooperative engagement agreement. Work will be performed in Seattle, Washington (82.6 percent); Baltimore, Maryland (6.2 percent); Greenlawn, New York (4.2 percent); North Amityville, New York (3.5 percent); and Cambridge, United Kingdom (3.5 percent), and is expected to be complete by June 2017. Cooperative engagement agreement funds in the amount of $100,423,110 are being obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Kay and Associates Inc., Buffalo Glove, Illinois, is being awarded $25,741,015 for modification P00022 to a previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (N00421-11-C-1044). This modification exercises an option for extension of a period of 6 months contractor maintenance and support services for the Government of Kuwait in support of F/A-18 C/D aircraft. Work will be performed in Kuwait, and is expected to be complete by January 2017. Foreign military sales funds in the amount of $25,741,015 will be obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
Contracts Awarded Thursday, July 14
The Boeing Co., Seattle, Washington, is being awarded a $16,332,383 modification to a previously awarded firm-price-incentive-firm-target contract (N00019-14-C-0067). This modification provides for the procurement and installation of additional fiber optic wiring and fiber connector savers in support of 35 P-8A aircraft for the Navy (27); and Royal Australian Air Force (8). Work will be performed at Seattle, Washington (62 percent); Glendale, California (32 percent); and other various location within the U.S. (6.0 percent), and is expected to be complete by February 2019. Fiscal 2014, 2015 and 2016 aircraft procurement (Navy); and international partner funds are being obligated in the amount of $13,329,927, of which $417,483 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract combines the purchase of Navy ($11,999,927; 73.47 percent), and the Government of Australia ($4,332,456; 26.53 percent).
