Detectives Investigate Fatal Shooting in Upper Marlboro


UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (July 13, 2016)—The Prince George's Co. Police Dept. Homicide Unit is investigating an overnight fatal shooting in Upper Marlboro. The victim is 22-year-old Andre Stocks of Hunterton Street in Upper Marlboro. Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random crime. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.

On July 13th, at about 12:00 am, patrol officers were called to the 12100 block of Hunterton Street for a shooting. When they arrived, officers found the victim outside suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives are working to identify a motive and the suspect(s).
