LEONARDTOWN, Md. (June 16, 2016)—On May 31, Leadership Southern Maryland named to its board of directors Natalie Cotton LSM'11 (community and public affairs director, SMECO), Theresa Johnson LSM'14 (executive director, Calvert Memorial Hospital Foundation), and Angela Walters LSM'16 (public information specialist, Calvert County Government). Also named to the Board of Directors as general counsel was Samuel C. P. Baldwin Jr. LSM'16 (attorney and partner, Baldwin and Briscoe, PC).
In addition, the following directors were elected to the executive committee for fiscal year 2017:
• President: John Felicitas, LSM'13
• Vice President: Patrick Murphy, LMd'06
• Secretary: Anna Fagan, LSM'14
• Treasurer: Hartmuth Csanadi-Schwartz, LSM'14
• Past President: Lee Capristo, LSM'11
These new directors and executive committee members join existing board members Steve Combs LSM'14, Barry Friedman LSM'09, Karen O'Connor LSM'10, Sharmella Riggs LSM'15, and Susan Mudd Vogel LSM'09.
Joining LSM's Leadership Council upon completion of their service as directors were Mark De Luca, LSM'10 and Bert Johnston, LMd'07.
Leadership Southern Maryland is designed and dedicated to educate and inspire a diverse group of current and emerging leaders to create collaborations and partnerships to impact the community needs of Calvert, Charles, and St. Mary's counties and incorporates a cross-section of the region to include diversity of geographic location, profession, ethnicity and gender.
