WASHINGTON, Md. (June 14, 2016)—Congressman Steny H. Hoyer (MD-5) today announced the names of 15 Fifth District students appointed to the United States Service Academies. The students, nominated by Rep. Hoyer, have accepted offers to the Air Force Academy, the United States Naval Academy, the Merchant Marine Academy, and the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, which all require a nomination from an authorized nominating source. Rep. Hoyer hosted an Academy Tea Reception in their honor yesterday at the Library of Congress in Washington.
