PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (June 13, 2016)—The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.
POSSESSION WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE MARIJUANA: On 6/4/2016 at 7:03 pm, Trooper First Class Lewis stopped a vehicle on Rt. 260 and St. Andrews Dr. in Chesapeake Beach for traffic violations. While speaking with the driver, a grinder was observed in an open armrest. A probable cause search was conducted and 76 grams of marijuana was located. Samuel A. Mangene, 24, of Huntingtown, was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
FIRST DEGREE ASSAULT: On 6/5/2016 at 9:40 pm, Trooper First Class Barlow and Trooper Backus responded to the Fastop in St. Leonard for a reported stabbing. The victim was being attended to by EMS personal. He advised the incident had taken place in the 4900 block of St. Leonard Rd. in an apartment. He advised he had been stabbed by Louise E. Logan, 64, of St. Leonard. The victim was taken to the hospital for additional treatment. Troopers responded to the address in an attempt to locate Ms. Logan. The apartment was secured as a crime scene, however, Ms. Logan was not located. Investigation continues.
