PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (June 6, 2016)—The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.
POSSESSION WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE MARIJUANA: On 5/30/2016 at 1:35 pm, Trooper First Class Matthews stopped a vehicle on Rt. 4 and Miss Sams Way in Huntingtown for traffic violations. During the traffic stop, a strong odor of fresh marijuana was detected from inside the vehicle. A probable cause search was conducted and a Vaultz box with a combination lock was found. Dondre P. Jones, 18 of Upper Marlboro, provided the combination and 58.1 grams of marijuana was found. Additionally another 3.6 grams of marijuana was in a smaller baggie. Jones was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY, RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT: On 6/1/2016 at 9:36 am, Trooper Rucker responded to the 200 block of Tranquil Court in Prince Frederick for a follow-up to a firearms complaint. Numerous tenants had reported hearing four gunshots. Three shell casings were located and have been forward to the Maryland State Police Crime Lab for fingerprint & ballistic analysis. Investigation continues.
UNAUTHORIZED USE OF MOTOR VEHICLE: On 6/1/2016 at 2:37 pm, Trooper Rucker received a complaint for an unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. The victim reported that while in a relationship with Demitrius S. Jacobs, 27 of Mechanicsville, she allowed him to drive her vehicle. After ending the relationship, she has requested he return the vehicle numerous times and he has failed to do so. Investigation continues.
