Waldorf Man Arrested for Last Saturday's Murder in Clinton

PRINCE GEORGE'S CO., Md. (April 25, 2016)—The Prince George's County Police Department arrested a suspect in connection with last Saturday's fatal shooting in Clinton. The suspect is 25-year-old Antonio Barnett of the 2300 block of Love Place in Waldorf.

On April 16, 2016, at about 9:50 pm, patrol officers found the victim, Carl Marshall, suffering from a gunshot wound in the 5300 block of Vienna Drive. He died from his injuries at the scene.

Preliminarily, detectives believe an argument between the suspect and victim led to the fatal shooting. Barnett is charged with first and second degree murder. He is being held at the Department of Corrections on a no-bond status.
