LEONARDTOWN, Md. (April 21, 2016)—The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office released the following incident reports.

FATAL MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION AT GOLDEN BEACH ROAD AND JARRELL DRIVE: On April 16, at approximately 12:32 a.m., patrol officers responded to a serious motor vehicle collision in the area of Golden Beach Road and Jarrell Drive in Mechanicsville. Preliminary investigation revealed, Brandon Sean Maguire, age 39, of Mechanicsville, was traveling eastbound on Golden Beach Road in a 2003 Jeep Wrangler. For unknown reasons, Maguire's vehicle crossed the center line and struck (head-on) a 2000 Ford F150, operated by Albert Kendal Lowry, age 50, of Mechanicsville.

Maguire was flown to Prince George's Hospital with serious injuries. Lowry was transported to Medstar St. Mary's Hospital for the treatment of chest and wrist injuries. On April 17, Maguire succumbed to injuries during treatment at Prince George's Hospital.

Due to the severity of the injuries, the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office Collision Reconstruction Unit has assumed the investigation. Anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to contact Sgt. William Watters #188 at 301-475-4040.

BURGLARY: Unknown suspect(s) stole property in the 37000 block of New Market Road in Mechanicsville. Cpl Somerville is investigating the case. Somerville. CASE# 20644-16.

THEFT: On April 19, 2016, a victim reported leaving their wallet inside a shopping cart at the Food Lion in Leonardtown. The wallet was not in the shopping cart when the victim returned to the store. Dep. Holdsworth is investigating the case. CASE# 20773-16.

BURGLARY: Between 4/12 and 4/14, unknown suspect(s) entered a residence and stole property on the 48000 block of Windward Circle in Lexington Park. Dep. L. Johnson is investigating the case. CASE# 19818-16.

BURGLARY: Unknown suspect(s) removed copper piping from a residence in the 23000 block of Upland Drive in Bushwood. Cpl. S. Kerby is investigating the case. CASE# 19893-16.

PROPERTY DESTRUCTION: A victim reports hearing a loud noise before discovering damage to the rear passenger-side door of the vehicle the victim was operating. The victim was in the area of Buck Hewitt Road and Chickadee Circle in Lexington Park. Dep. Lawrence is investigating the case. CASE# 20220-16.

THEFT: Unknown suspect(s) removed property from a boat in the 12000 block of Point Lookout Road in Scotland. DFC Josh Krum is investigating the case. CASE# 20316-16.

BURGLARY: Sometime within the last two weeks, unknown suspect(s) entered a storage unit at the Farmer's Market in Charlotte Hall and stole property. There were no signs of forced entry. Cpl. Julie Yingling is investigating the case. CASE# 20554-16.

BURGLARY: Unknown suspect(s) entered a residence in the 26000 block of North Sandgates Road in Mechanicsville. Nothing appeared to be stolen. Dep. Kerns is investigating the case. CASE# 19708-16.

BURGLARY: Unknown suspect(s) entered a detached shed and stole property in the 22000 block of Point Lookout Road in Leonardtown. Dep. McClure is investigating the case. CASE# 19673-16.

BURGLARY: Unknown suspect(s) stole property from a residence in the 21000 block of Great Mills Road in Great Mills. Dep. Beyer is investigating. CASE# 19715-16.

BREAKING TO A MOTOR VEHICLE: Unknown suspect(s) entered a motor vehicle in the 39000 block of Persimmon Creed Road in Mechanicsville. Dep. Molitor is investigating the case. CASE# 19728-16.

BURGLARY: Unknown suspect(s) entered a residence and stole property in the 48000 block of Winward Circle in Lexington Park. Dep. L. Johnson is investigating the case. CASE# 19818-16.

BURGLARY: Unknown suspect(s) entered a residence and stole property on the 21000 block of North Essex Drive in Lexington Park. The case is being investigated by DFC J. Krum. CASE# 19089-16.

BURGLARY: Unknown suspect(s) forced entry into a residence on Ranger Road in Lexington Park. Nothing appeared to be stolen from the residence. CASE# 18227-16.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: Unknown suspect(s) attempted to force entry into a 5th wheel travel trailer parked in the backyard of a residence in the 24000 block of Hurry Road in Chaptico. The case is being investigated by DFC. Flerlage. CASE# 18396-16.
