LA PLATA, Md. (Feb. 29, 2016)—The Charles County Sheriff's Office released the following incident and arrest reports.

CARJACKING/CRIME SOLVERS OFFERING CASH REWARD: On Feb. 25 at approximately 4:12 p.m., officers responded to the 2200 block of Sandlewood Drive in Waldorf for the report of an assault and carjacking. An investigation revealed that the victim, a 66-year-old male, interrupted four suspects attempting to steal his vehicle. The suspects assaulted the man and drove away in his car, which was located abandoned a short distance away. The victim was transported to a hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective J. Feldman at (301) 609-6474. CCSO INVESTIGATING FATAL MOTORCYCLE CRASH: On Feb. 28 at 5:29 p.m., officers responded to the 8900 block of Turkey Hill Road in White Plains for the report of a motor vehicle crash. A preliminary investigation showed the driver of a motorcycle was traveling south on Turkey Hill Road when he crossed the center line and was struck by a Ford Expedition which was traveling north. The driver of the motorcycle, Eric Donnell, 42, of Bel Alton, was transported to the Charles Regional Medical Center (CRMC) where he died upon arrival. The driver of the Expedition was transported to CRMC with non life-threatening injuries. PFC. C. Collins of the Traffic Operations Unit is investigating.

WOMAN CHARGED WITH POSSESSION WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE NARCOTICS: On Feb. 28 at 6:24 p.m., officers responded to the area of Smallwood Drive West at the Park and Ride for the report of a motor vehicle crash. While investigating, an officer smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from one of the cars involved. After further investigation, officers found 41 individually packaged glassine baggies of marijuana inside the car, as well as a metal grinding device and other drug paraphernalia. Tiffany Vera Bell, 21, of Waldorf was charged with possession with the intent to distribute marijuana. Officer R. Pickeral investigated.

THEFT: Between Feb. 27 - Feb. 28, tires and rims were stolen from a Dodge Challenger parked in the 6000 block of New Forest Court in Waldorf. The tires and rims were stolen from another Challenger parked nearby in the 6000 block of Thoroughbred Court in Waldorf. PFC E. Baker is investigating.

MAN CHARGED WITH POSSESSION WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE NARCOTICS: On Feb. 28 at 1:19 a.m., PFC P. Morgan, III, initiated a traffic stop in the area of Crain Highway and VFW Road in Waldorf. PFC Morgan detected an odor of marijuana from inside the vehicle. He subsequently recovered a jar of marijuana, a bag containing 14 individually packaged bags of crack cocaine, a digital scale, and several unused small glass baggies. Malcolm Karieck Robinson, 24, of Washington, D.C. was arrested and charged with possession with the intent to distribute narcotics.
