Third Suspect Arrested in Robbery at a Lexington Park Hotel

LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Feb. 12, 2016)—Police have arrested a third suspect in the robbery of a citizen at a hotel in Lexington Park which occurred on June 23, 2015, at approximately 3:15 a.m.

When troopers arrived on the scene last June, they learned the victim; John William Hancock, 69 of Hagerstown, had been robbed of an undisclosed amount of currency. During the initial investigation, Criminal Enforcement Division Investigators charged Loletia Chanelle Morgan with possession of CDS paraphernalia and theft under $1,000. In addition, Kevin Jerome Chase was also charged with theft under $1,000.

During the course of the investigation, Trooper First Class William Posey identified 20-year-old Francis Xavier Hill, Jr. as the third suspect involved in the robbery investigation. On February 10, Hill was charged with theft under $1,000. Hill is currently incarnated at the St. Mary's County Detention Center.
