LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Jan. 26, 2016)—The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.
THEFT: On Wednesday, January 20 at 7:28 pm, Tpr. Caprainca responded to the Best Buy in California for a reported theft. Investigation revealed that Brandi Marie Beckett, 32, of Great Mills had attempted to steal a laptop. Ms. Beckett was charged on a criminal citation and released to the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office on an unrelated warrant. (16-MSP-002800)
ASSAULT: On Saturday, January 23 at 2:54 pm, TFC Ruth responded to the 24000 block of Mt. Pleasant Road a reported assault Investigation revealed that a male juvenile,16, of Hollywood assaulted two females in the residence. The juvenile was charged and released to a relative. (16-MSP-003161)
THEFT: On Sunday, January 24 at 6:08 pm, TFC Krenik responded to the Dollar General in Mechanicsville for a reported theft. The complainant advised she observed Amy Marie Copsey, 33, of Mechanicsville, hide several items in her purse. Ms. Copsey was charged on a criminal citation and issued a Notice Not to Trespass.
