Walden CEO Appointed Member of Behavioral Health Advisory Committee



LEXINGTON PARK, Md. (Dec. 4, 2015)—Walden's CEO, Dr. Kathleen O'Brien was recently appointed as a member of the Behavioral Health Advisory Committee by the State of Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.

Dr O'Brien will be serving as the representative of the Maryland Addictions Council.

"This is another demonstration of Dr. O' Brien's commitment and dedication to the development and expansion of multi-service behavioral health organizations through out the State," according to a statement released by Walden.

In addition to being appointed as a member of the Behavioral Health Advisory Committee, Dr. O'Brien serves on other state and local boards including: Healthshare, Camp Maria Board, the Maryland Juvenile Coalition and the MD Network against Domestic Violence.

Walden offers a comprehensive array of behavioral health treatment, and recovery services to individuals and families throughout the community.
