LA PLATA, Md. (Dec. 4, 2015)—A 25-year-old Waldorf man was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries Friday morning after being struck by a car. Police determined that the man's passenger car had been involved in a single-vehicle collision and became disabled in the roadway in the area of St. Patrick's Drive at Billingsley Road in Waldorf. When the occupants exited the vehicle to assess the damage, another car approached and struck the disabled vehicle, causing it to hit the driver who had exited his car.

No other injuries were reported. Police did not release the names of anyone involved in the accident.
