WASHINGTON (Nov. 17, 2015)—The U.S. Department of Defense recently announced the following contract awards that pertain to local Navy activities.
Lockheed Martin Corp., Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $112,779,000 modification to a previously awarded advance acquisition contract (N00019-15-C-0003) for the procurement of additional long-lead time items necessary for the manufacture and delivery of low-rate initial production Lot 10 F-35A aircraft for the Air Force and Lot 11 F-35A aircraft for the government of the Netherlands. Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas (30 percent); El Segundo, California (25 percent); Warton, United Kingdom (20 percent); Orlando, Florida (10 percent); Nashua, New Hampshire (5 percent); Baltimore, Maryland (5 percent); and Cameri, Italy (5 percent), and is expected to be completed in December 2019. Fiscal 2015 aircraft procurement (Air Force); and non-U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) participant funds in the amount of $112,779,000 are being obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract combines purchase for the Air Force ($99,060,000; 88 percent) and non-U.S. DoD participants ($13,719,000; 12 percent). Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Military Aircraft Systems, Melbourne, Florida, is being awarded a $151,309,421 modification to a previously awarded fixed-price-incentive (firm target) contract (N00019-13-C-9999) for the procurement of one Japan configuration E-2D Advanced Hawkeye aircraft for the government of Japan under the Foreign Military Sales program. Work will be performed in St. Augustine, Florida (24.90 percent); Syracuse, New York (20.59 percent); Melbourne, Florida (7.60 percent); El Segundo, California (4.56 percent); Indianapolis, Indiana (4.05 percent); Menlo Park, California (3.90 percent); Rolling Meadows, Illinois (2.30 percent); and various locations throughout the U.S. (32.10 percent), and is expected to be completed in March 2018. Foreign military sales funds in the amount of $151,309,421 are being obligated on this award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Boeing Co., Seattle, Washington, is being awarded a $101,585,021 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-14-C-0067) for the integrated logistics support and site activation for full-rate production II and III (Lots 6 and 7) of the P-8A aircraft for the Navy and the government of Australia. Work will be performed in Seattle, Washington (50 percent); St. Louis, Missouri (25 percent); Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (23 percent); and Huntington Beach, California (2 percent), and is expected to be completed in June 2018. Fiscal 2015 aircraft procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $60,218,768; and cooperative partner funds in the amount of $635,025, will be obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract combines purchases for the Navy ($99, 935,547; 98 percent) and the government of Australia ($1,649,474; 2 percent) under a cooperative agreement.
