MSP Reports for St. Mary's Co.


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (May 28, 2015)—The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

ASSAULT: On Friday, May 22 at 6:36 pm, Trooper S. Regina responded to the 41000 block of Beechwood Lane for a reported assault. Investigation revealed that Holly A. Demarr, 34, of Hollywood had assaulted a juvenile male victim with a tent pole. Ms. Demarr was placed under arrest for Assault Second Degree and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. She was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner. (15-MSP-017765)

DRUG ARREST: On Monday, May 25 at 1:42 am, Trooper E. Krenik initiated a traffic stop on a black passenger car on Route 235 and Pegg Road for a minor traffic violation. Trooper Krenik made contact with the driver, Divante Quintil Kyler, 23, of California, and detected the strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. Trooper Krenik observed marijuana in plain view in the vehicle, and a probable cause search was conducted. Trooper Krenik located multiple plastic baggies containing suspected marijuana, as well as CDS paraphernalia. Mr. Kyler was arrested and charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Marijuana Greater Than 10 Grams, Possession of CDS Paraphernalia, and traffic charges. He was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner. (15-MSP-018089)

DISORDERLY: On Monday, May 25 at 2:22 pm, Senior Trooper E. Evans responded to Fred's Liquors in Charlotte Hall for an intoxicated disorderly subject. Investigation revealed that Joseph Aubrey Dement, 40, of no fixed address had been acting disorderly by yelling at patrons of the business and banging on their vehicles with his hands. Senior Trooper Evans made contact with the suspect, who continued to yell obscenities at patrons. Mr. Dement was placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct and Public Intoxication. He was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner. (15-MSP-018133)

WARRANT SERVICE: Christina Suzanne Buckler, 36, of Mechanicsville, served on 5/22/2015 at 3:34 pm for Failure to Appear in Court. (2015-00208746)
