PIKESVILLE, Md. (May 14, 2015)—Members of the Maryland State Police Computer Crimes Section and the Maryland Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) arrested a Calvert County man Wednesday on child pornography charges.
The suspect is identified as Brian Thomas Jackson, 30, of the 300 block of Bannister Court in Lusby, Calvert County. He was arrested without incident and charged on a criminal indictment for the distribution of child pornography.
As a result of the investigation a search and seizure warrant was executed at Jacksons residence during December 2014 by a Maryland State Police Computer Crimes investigator and agents from the Department of Homeland Security, Calvert County Sheriffs Office, and the Calvert County States Attorneys Office. Investigators identified Jackson as the focus of the investigation. Execution of the search warrant resulted in the seizure of Jackon's computer which contained images of child pornography.
At approximately 12:30 p.m. today, Jackson was arrested by state troopers assigned to the Prince Frederick Barrack on an outstanding criminal indictment. He was transported to the Calvert County Detention Center and is awaiting a bond hearing.
