LA PLATA, Md. (May 7, 2015)The Charles County Sheriff's Office released the following incident and arrest reports.
FIREARMS VIOLATION: On May 5 at 3:31 a.m. officers responded to the 3200 block of Patapsco Place in Waldorf for the report of a suspicious vehicle. Officers located the car and upon approaching the vehicle, found two men inside; both appeared to be intoxicated. Officers also saw a handgun on the back seat. A computer check showed neither man was allowed to be in possession of a firearm. Sean Gerard Estep, 29, of Waldorf and Alphonso Olajadae Cutler, 27, of Waldorf were arrested and charged with illegal possession of a firearm. Officer S. Hooper investigated.
THEFT: On May 3 at 7 p.m., officers responded to the 8800 block of Old Stagecoach Road in La Plata for the report of a theft. Investigation revealed several batteries had been stolen from a cell phone tower. Officer T. McKimmie is investigating.
ASSAULT: On May 2 at 1:15 a.m., officers responded to a residence in the 2800 block of Merchant Court in Waldorf for the report of an assault in progress. While officers were en route, they received information that shots had been fired and the suspects had just fled the scene. A lookout of the suspects car was broadcast. Officers observed the vehicle nearby and initiated a traffic stop. Four passengers jumped out of the car and fled on foot; the driver was apprehended. Officers set up a perimeter and located the suspects. Investigation revealed the suspects went to the house for a party but were asked to leave after they assaulted several people. As they left, the suspects threw a brick through the windshield of a vehicle and also threw two chairs through the front windows of the house. Further investigation showed a handgun was not fired during the assault. Eric Dwayne Gross, 19, of Accokeek, Stephanie Charelle Fleming, 21, of Waldorf, Donte Andre Dorsey, 24, of Indian Head, Timothy Aldujuan Sesay, 26 of Waldorf, and Eric Lamont Figeroux Jr., 19, of Alabama were arrested and charged with malicious destruction of property and second-degree assault. ATTEMPTED MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT: Sometime between 2 p.m. May 3 and 8 a.m. May 4, unknown suspect(s) broke into a vehicle in the 100 block of Park Square Court in Waldorf. The suspect(s) pried open a door and removed a fuse box cover. Nothing was stolen from the vehicle. Cpl. J. Walter is investigating.
ASSAULT: On May 2 at 5:33 p.m., officers responded to the 5700 block of Bicknell Court in Indian Head for the report of the sound of gunshots. Investigation revealed unknown suspect(s) fired shots into the victims residence. No one was injured and a motive is not clear. Officer R. Smith is investigating.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: Sometime between 11 p.m. May 1 and 7:30 a.m. May 2, unknown suspect(s) broke into six cars in the Lancaster and Constitution Hills area of Waldorf and stole valuables out of two cars. PFC K. Newman is investigating.
THEFT: Sometime between 3 p.m. April 27 and 6 a.m. April 28, unknown suspect(s) broke into two vehicles parked in the 9200 block of Twinberry Drive in Bel Alton. The suspects stole tools and a generator and fled the scene. Cpl. T. Lee is investigating.
MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT: On April 26 at 9:48 p.m., a white 2015 GMC Savanna with orange UHAUL graphics was stolen from a parking lot of a business in Waldorf . Cpl. K. Selkirk is investigating.
