LEONARDTOWN, Md. (April 29, 2015)The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office Vice Narcotics Division released the following incident and arrest reports. The Division is an investigative team comprised of detectives from the St. Marys County Sheriffs Office and Federal Drug Agents (HIDTA Group 34). The Division was established on September 1st, 2007.
Drug Raid in Lexington Park
Vice/Narcotics detectives received information regarding two homes in the South Hampton neighborhood and their involvement in drug sales. Search and seizure warrants were obtained for both homes. Emergency Services Teams from both the Charles and St. Mary's County Sheriff's Offices, along with the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office K-9 and Support Team Deputies executed the warrants in the 21000 block of Bristol Avenue in Lexington Park.
Jermaine Dwayne Davis, 32, was located inside the home. Suspect Davis has avoided apprehension for some time. He had six open warrants, which included distribution of cocaine. He was found to be in possession of nearly 10 baggies of cocaine as well as several individual baggies of marijuana.
Inside the second home on the same street deputies located Lerrel Carey, 27, who was wanted for "Failure to Pay Child Support" through the Charles County Sheriff's Office. Willie Arrington, 31, was charged on a civil citation for possession of marijuana. A quantity of cocaine and marijuana were recovered from that home as well. Detectives are currently working with the St. Mary's County Housing Authority related to the activities at these homes and additional charges and arrests are anticipated.
FAKE PRESCRIPTION: George Junior Harvey, 34 of Waldorf, was charged with attempting to obtain Oxycodone by fraud after he passed a fake prescription.
FAKE PRESCRIPTION: Alyassa Marie Wainwright, 25 of Lusby, was charged after she attempted to obtain 150 Oxycodone by Fraud.
DRUG RAID: Detectives executed a search and seizure warrant on a home in the 21000 block of Indian Bridge Road in California. Arrested were Crystal Lynn Harris, 35, and her husband, Cory Terrell Bonds, 31, for possession of heroin, cocaine, and oxycodone. Open arrest warrants were also served on Suspect Harris for burglary and multiple thefts. Additional charges are pending a review with the State's Attorney.
ATTEMPT TO SMUGGLE HEROIN INTO JAIL: Detectives received information that Bobbie Jo Tippett, 21) was going to attempt to smuggle heroin into the St. Mary's County Detention Center. Suspect Tippett released money to another party to purchase the heroin for her and leave the drugs at a predetermined location. Detectives were able to disrupt this attempt. Additional charges are pending a review with the State's Attorney's.
MANUFACTURING MARIJUANA: Joseph Gerard Denaro, 57 of Lexington Park, was indicted and charged for Manufacturing Marijuana.
MANUFACTURING MARIJUANA: David Chandler Smith, 20 of Callaway, was indicted and charged for Manufacturing Marijuana.
DRUG RAID: Lisa Marie Trossbach, 30 of California, was the target of a search and seizure warrant and was located operating a motor vehicle. Cocaine and related paraphernalia was recovered from the vehicle and Suspect Trossbach was charged with the drug violations and driving while suspended as well.
VEHICLE STOP NETS DRUGS: Geral Anthony Holt Jr., 21 of Mechanicsville, was observed by an undercover detective as a passenger inside a vehicle traveling on the roadway, while in possession of marijuana. The vehicle was stopped by a Patrol deputy and the marijuana, cocaine covered digital scale and related paraphernalia were recovered. Suspect Holt Jr. was charged with being in possession of Dead Man Walking synthetic marijuana and Darryl Carlton Parks, 21 of Suitland, was charged with possession of cocaine, marijuana and related paraphernalia.
WITNESS TAMPERING: Darnell Anthony Brice, 37 of California, was indicted and charged for Witness Tampering.
MARIJUANA DISTRIBUTION: Javonte Marcel Bonds, 23 of Piney Point, was indicted and arrested for Possession of Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute.
