LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Feb. 4, 2015)The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office released the following incident and arrest reports.
1ST DEGREE ASSAULT: On February 3 at 11:16 PM, patrol units responded to the area of 22000 block of Baja Lane in Great Mills for the report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, deputies discovered two adult male victims had been stabbed during an altercation involving a third person. One victim was flown to Prince George's Hospital Shock Trauma Center for precautionary measures with a stab wound to his upper body. The second victim was transported to Medstar St. Mary's Hospital with minor stab wounds on various parts of his body. Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division were contacted, responded to the scene and assumed the investigation.
During the investigation, detectives were able to identify a suspect in the stabbings and a temporary felony warrant has been issued for Joseph Desales Thomas, 51, of Great Mills,
pictured above. Detectives are asking anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Thomas to contact Detective Cory Ellis at 301-475-4200 ext. 9125 or Crime Solvers at 301-475-3333. SEX OFFENDER ARREST: On January 30, Det./Cpl. William Raddatz of the Criminal Investigations Division, Sex Offender Compliance Unit, initiated an investigation regarding the employment status of registered sex offender Dwight C. Brown, 51, of Lexington Park. During the investigation it was determined Brown had been terminated from his employment and had failed to notify the registry as required. Brown was located, placed under arrest, charged with failing to provide a notice as required by law regarding employment status and incarcerated in the St. Mary's County Detention Center.
DRUG ARREST:
Christy Lynn Locklear, 40, of Lusby, was arrested for passing an altered prescription for oxycodone. Upon her arrest, detectives located a syringe with residue and drug paraphernalia with Methadone residue. She was arrested and a vehicle occupant, Donald James Clark, 30, of No Fixed Address, was found to be wanted by several out of state jurisdictions. He is being held awaiting extradition on a warrant through the State of South Carolina.

2/1/2015 BURGLARY: A victim, who resides on Castaway Circle, reported she heard a noise in a bedroom. When she opened the door she saw a black male suspect standing in the room. The victim fled the residence and called police. The suspect also fled on foot from the area. Case remains open. CASE #6114-15.
2/2/2015 BURGLARY: A victim, who resides on Oak Acres Drive, reported unknown suspect(s) entered his garage and stole property. Case remains open. CASE #6164-15.
2/2/2015 RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE: MSP observed a 2003 Nissan Altima parked and unoccupied behind the Lexington Park post office. The vehicle had been reported stolen on 11-17-14 to SMCSO. Case remains open. CASE #61599-14.
2/3/2015 ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: An employee at the Wendy's restaurant located on Great Mills Road reported an unidentified black male suspect reached into the drive thru window and attempted to steal the cash register. Case remains open. CASE #6398-15.
2/3/2015 BURGLARY: A victim, who resides on Cedar Street in Leonardtown reported an unidentified suspect forced open the back door. The suspect fled on foot. Case remains open. CASE #6460-15.
