Waldorf Store Sells $1 Million Mega Millions Ticket

Jackpot Rolls to $150 million for Friday’s Drawing

Check your Mega Millions tickets, Waldorf players! The Maryland Lottery is looking for the lucky person who bought a $1 million second-tier winning ticket from the Washington Mart in Waldorf for the Tuesday, Oct. 7 drawing.

The new millionaire matched the five winning numbers of 16-29-46-48-55. No one matched the Mega Ball, which was 02, to claim the jackpot so it rolls to $150 million for the Friday, Oct. 10 drawing. The cash option for Friday’s jackpot is $90 million. In Maryland, 49,904 players won amounts ranging from $1 to the $1 million Match 5 prize.

The Charles County retailer, located at 2145 Crain Highway, will receive a $2,500 bonus for selling the ticket. Our lucky winner has 182 days after the drawing to claim the prize at Maryland Lottery headquarters at 1800 Washington Blvd. in Baltimore.

Watch Mega Millions drawings at 11:22 p.m. Tuesdays and Fridays on WBAL-TV, Channel 11. Winning numbers are available on the Maryland Lottery website and on your smartphone by downloading the free Maryland Lottery app.
