LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Sept. 24, 2014)—The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office released the following incident and arrest reports.

9/11/2014 TWO SPORT MOTORCYCLES STOLEN FROM HILTON DRIVE: On Thursday, September 11, unknown suspect(s) stole a black 2007 Suzuki GSX 600 motorcycle (pictured) from the parking lot of the Green's Apartments located on Hilton Drive. Anyone with information regarding this crime can is asked to call Deputy Schultz at 301.475.4200 X 1953. On Sunday, September 14, unknown suspect(s) stole a 2008 Suzuki GSX 600 (pictured) from the parking lot of the Greens Apartments located on Hilton Drive. 9/13/2014 2 ARRESTS FOR ROBBERY AND ASSUALT: Sheriff’s Office Patrol units responded to MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital for a reported assault. Deputies learned a male victim had entered the hospital seeking treatment for an injury he received while involved in a fight at a residence located on Laurel Court. The victim was subsequently transported to Prince George's Shock Trauma Center with serious injuries. The Criminal Investigations Division was contacted and assumed the investigation. Detectives determined the victim was attending a party when he saw a friend being assaulted and robbed by several male subjects. When the victim attempted to help his friend, several of the suspects began beating him causing serious facial injuries. Further investigation revealed the victim in the original fight had been approached by several male subjects who insinuated they were armed and demanded he remove everything from his pockets. When he refused, the suspects began assaulting him, knocking him to the ground, then reaching into his pockets stealing money and a cell phone. Detectives learned the identity of the suspects and obtained warrants for their arrest. On September 17, 2014, detectives arrested Kairon (NMN) Hawkins, age 19 of Lusby, charging him with Robbery, 1st Degree Assault, 2nd Degree Assault and Theft less than $1,000. On September 18, 2014, detectives arrested Emory J. Baldwin IV, age 19, of St. Leonard, and charged him with Robbery, 1st Degree assault, 2nd Degree Assault and Theft less than $1,000. Both were incarcerated in the St. Mary’s County Detention Center.

9/17/2014 BURGLARY: A victim , who resides on Deerhaven Lane in California, reported unknown suspect(s) forced entry into his garage and removed property. Case remains open. Case #49949-14

9/17/2014 BURGLARY: A victim, who resides on Lynndale Court in Oakville, reported unknown suspect(s) entered his residence, however nothing appeared to be missing. Case remains open. Case #49979-14

9/17/2014 RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT: Deputies responded to the area of Radford Lane for a report of shots fired. No suspects were located. Deputies checked with the residents of area homes who reported no injuries or property damage. Case remains open. Case #50058-14

9/18/2014 ASSAULT: Deputy L. Johnson responded to a residence on Goldenrod Drive in California, for a reported assault. The victim alleged suspect Deena Jo Neville, 46, of California, scratched the victim’s face and neck during an argument. Deputy Johnson observed fresh evidence of injury on the victim. Neville was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. She was charged with 2nd Degree Assault.

9/18/2014 BURGLARY: A victim, who resides on Smith Nursery Road in Hollywood, reported unknown suspect(s) entered his shed and stole property. Case remains open. Case #50139-14

9/18/2014 THEFT: A victim, who resides on Military Lane in California, reported unknown suspect(s) stole the registration plates from his vehicle. Case #50108-14

9/19/2014 BURGLARY MOTOR VEHICLE: A victim, who resides on Black Oak Court in California, reported unknown suspect(s) entered her unlocked vehicle and stole property. Case remains open and is assigned to Deputy Steinbach. Case #50321-14

9/19/2014 BURGLARY MOTOR VEHICLE: A victim, who resides on Black Oak Court in California, reported unknown suspect(s) entered his unlocked vehicle. Nothing appeared to have been stolen. Case remains open and is assigned to Deputy J. Davis. Case #50326-14

9/19/2014 BURGLARY MOTOR VEHICLE: A victim, who resides on White Oak Court in California, reported unknown suspect(s) entered his unlocked vehicle and stole property. Case remains open and is assigned to Deputy Tirpak. Case #50338-14

9/19/2014 BURGLARY TO MOTOR VEHICLE: A victim, who resides on King Way, reported unknown suspect(s) entered his vehicle and stole property. Case #50236-14

9/19/2014 BURGLARY: Deputy Schultz responded to a residence on Ronald Drive in Lexington Park, for a reported burglary. The victim alleged suspect Sydney Antwan Strain, 26, of Lexington Park, entered the residence after he was let in by young children who opened the door. Once the victim saw it was Strain, she told him to leave and that he was not allowed in the home. Strain refused to leave and attempted to take his small child who was standing behind the victim in an effort to shield him from Strain. A struggle ensued over the child. Strain pushed the victim down, and took the child. The child’s mother then began fighting with Strain to get the child back. Strain fled the residence without the child after the victim called 9 1 1. Deputies located Strain a short time later and he was placed under arrest. He was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and charged with 3rd Degree Burglary and 2nd Degree Assault.

9/19/2014 MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT: Deputy L. Johnson conducted a traffic stop on Great Mills Road near Langley Drive. The vehicle Deputy Johnson stopped rolled backward and struck the police car. Neither Deputy Johnson or the operator of the vehicle were injured.

9/19/2014 THEFT: A victim, who resides on Hilton Drive in Lexington Park, reported unknown suspect(s) stole the registration plate from his motorcycle. Case remains open and is assigned to Deputy LaFave. Case #50335-14

9/19/2014: BURGLARY TO MOTOR VEHICLE: A victim, who resides on Pin Oak Court, reported unknown suspect(s) entered her unlocked vehicle. Nothing appeared to have been stolen. Case #50213-14

9/20/2014 ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: A victim, who resides on Midway Drive in Lexington Park, reported unknown suspect(s) attempted to gain entry into the home causing damage to several windows. Case remains open and is assigned to Deputy Bowen. Case #50526-14

9/20/2014 BURGLARY: A victim reported unknown suspect(s) entered his residence, located on Cabot Place in Lexington Park, and stole property. Case remains open and is assigned to Deputy Bowen. Case #50480-14

9/21/2014 BURGLARY: A victim, who resides on Cemetery Road in Leonardtown, reported unknown suspect(s) entered his garage and attempted to make entry into the residence through an interior door. Case remains open and is assigned to Deputy Wesner. Case#50630-14

9/21/2014 PROPERTY DESTRUCTION: A victim, who resides on Bayside Road in Mechanicsville, reported unknown suspect(s) damaged a window on her vehicle. Case remains open and is assigned to Deputy S. Cameron.

9/21/2014 THEFT: A victim, who resides on Huntt Road, reported unknown suspect(s) stole his utility trailer from his yard. Case #50641-14

9/21/2014 TRESPASSING/DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On September 21, Deputy Knott responded to Kohl’s Department store for a trespassing complaint. The store manager reported suspect Deborah Lynn Jerdon, 46, of California, was creating a disturbance and refusing to leave the store. Deputy Knott asked Jerdon several times to leave the store or be arrested. Jerdon refused all requests and continued to yell profanity at Deputy Knott and store management. Her conduct was disturbing to other patrons of the store. Deputy Knott placed Jerdon under arrest. She was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and charged with Trespassing, Disorderly Conduct, and Failure to Obey a Lawful Order.

9/22/2014 THEFT: A victim reported unknown suspect(s) stole a boat motor from the Piney Point public landing. Case #50810-14

9/22/2014 THEFT: A victim reported unknown suspect(s) stole his 20 foot box trailer from the Charlotte Hall Library parking lot. Case remains open. Case #50822-14

9/22/2014 THEFT: Unknown suspect(s) entered a residence on Budd's Creek Road in Chaptico and stole property. Case remains open. Case #50835-14

HELP IDENTIFY A THIEF WHO STOLE SIGNS: The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public's help to identify the suspect or suspects responsible for the theft of 8 road signs and 12 spring loaded stands. Between Friday, September 12, 2014, 5:00 PM and Monday, September 15, 2014, 8:00 AM, suspect(s) stole road construction signs and spring loaded stands along Point Look Out Road in the area from Great Mills to the College of Southern Maryland. All of the signs are made of aluminum and are orange with black lettering. Six (6) of the signs are diamond shaped and measure 48” x 48” and are worded like those pictured below. Also taken were a 1’x3’ “GROOVES” sign and a 2’x3’ “STAY IN LANE” sign. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Corporal Corcoran at 301.475.4200 X 9011. Case #49592-14
