Drug Arrests in St. Mary's Co.


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (, 2014)—The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office Vice Narcotics Division today released the following incident and arrest reports. The Division is an investigative team comprised of detectives from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office and Federal Drug Agents (HIDTA Group 34). The Division was established on September 1st, 2007.

SUBOXONE/DILAUDID:

Ryan Patrick Sullivan, 30, of California, Md.

Detectives conducted undercover purchases of prescription medication from suspect Ryan Patrick Sullivan, 30, of California. As a result of the investigations, St. Mary's County grand jurors indicted suspect Sullivan for Distribution of Suboxone and Distribution of Dilaudid.

COCAINE:

William Terrence Campbell, a/k/a "Funk," 38, of Lexington Park, Md.

Detectives identified William Terrence Campbell, a/k/a "Funk," 38, of Lexington Park, as a distributor of cocaine. Undercover purchases were made and subsequently a search and seizure warrant was executed on his home where a significant amount of drugs were seized. Suspect Campbell was indicted for Possession of Cocaine with the Intent to Distribute and Distribution of Cocaine.

OXYCODONE:

James Thomas Tawney, 51, of Lexington Park, Md.

James Thomas Tawney, 51, of Lexington Park, was indicted for Possession of Oxycodone with the Intent to Distribute, Possession of Alprazolam with the Intent to Distribute and Conspiracy to Distribute Oxycodone.
