Legacy Limousine Announces New Director of Operations

HUGHESVILLE—Legacy Limousine, a Southern Maryland-based limousine company, announced the hiring of Kim Cooksey as its new director of operations.

Cooksey is not new to the Legacy Limousine family. She was previously the office manager and webmaster from 2004 to 2010.

“I’m delighted to be back at Legacy Limousine and to once again be part of a company so dedicated to improving every area of its operation. Our clients, both past and present, can expect to see positive changes coming in the very near future. As director of operations, Cooksey has operational control of all company operations including reservations, fleet management, HR management and budgeting. She will work with owner and president Mike Hill to generate both short and long term strategic objectives relating to Legacy Limousine’s business and develop marketing plans, policies and procedures to ensure optimum results in support of the company’s future operations.

Sport Clips Haircuts Opens New Location in Dunkirk

DUNKIRK—Sport Clips Haircuts, a national franchise headquartered in Georgetown, Texas, dedicated to men's and boys' hair care, opened a new location in The Dunkirk Market Place shopping center at 10306 Southern Maryland Blvd. in Dunkirk. Krispy Kreme and Monument Restaurants to Bring 20 New Doughnut Shops to Md., DC and Northern Va.

WINSTON SALEM, N.C.—Krispy Kreme (NYSE: KKD), announced that it has signed an agreement with Monument Restaurants VII, LLC, a Virginia limited liability company, for the development of 20 new Krispy Kreme shops in Southern Maryland, Washington, DC , Northern Virginia and nearby counties over the next several years.

Concurrently, Monument Restaurants VII (RM), LLC acquired ownership of Krispy Kreme’s existing Rockville, Md. location. Krispy Kreme retains ownership of its remaining Washington, DC and Northern Virginia area locations.

Krispy Kreme currently has over 260 shops in the United States, of which approximately 160 are franchised. Additionally, the Company has over 590 locations in more than 20 countries outside the United States, all of which are franchised.
