MSP Reports for St. Mary's Co.


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (August 11, 2014)—The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) released the following incident and arrest reports.

DRUG ARREST, WEAPONS VIOLATION: On Sunday, August 3, 2014 at 9:32 am, Cpl. N. Gresko initiated a traffic stop on a black vehicle for a minor traffic infraction. Tpr. D. Buckalew arrested the driver, David Kaczmarczyk, 41, of Nanticoke, PA, for Driving Without a License. A probable cause search of the vehicle resulted in the recovery of a rifle, ammunition, CDS, and CDS paraphernalia. Investigation revealed that Mr. Kaczmarczyk was prohibited from possessing any firearms or ammunition. Mr. Kaczmarczyk was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and charged with Rifle/Shotgun Possession, CDS: Possession-Marijuana, and other related charges. He was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner. (14-MSP-024467)

THEFT: On Thursday, August 7, 2014 at 4:45 pm, TFC E. Mersman responded to the Walmart for a reported theft. Ceandra Bonita Scott, 48, of California, was arrested for Theft Less than $1,000. She was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner. (14-MSP-024995)
