MSP Reports for St. Mary's Co.


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (June 30, 2014)—The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

ASSAULT: On Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at 3:45 pm, Tpr. E. Krenik responded to the 45000 block of Oregon Way for a reported subject threatening a victim with a firearm. Investigation revealed that Michael Wayne McNeil, 21, of Lusby, had pointed a handgun at a male subject during an argument. Mr. McNeil was placed under arrest and charged with 1st and 2nd Degree Assault, Reckless Endangement, and other related charges. He was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center for processing and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner. (14-MSP-018307)

RECOVERY OF STOLEN VEHICLE: On Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at 4:02 pm, Tpr. A. Oyler initiated a traffic stop on a gold truck on Route 246 and Kay Drive for a minor traffic infraction. Investigation revealed that the vehicle had been reported stolen through Virginia, and the driver, Bradley Patrick Townshend, 20, of Heathsville, VA had an outstanding warrant. Mr. Townshend was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was held pending an extradition hearing. (14-MSP-019291)

BURGLARY, DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 5:45 pm, TFC M. Pitcher responded to the 45000 block of Halsey Court for a reported disturbance. Investigation revealed that Amanda Lynn Fenwick, 29, of Mechanicsville, had forced her way through the front door of a residence, causing damage to the door and frame. Ms. Fenwick did not have permission to enter the residence. She was arrested and charged with Burglary 1st and 3rd Degree and Malicious Destruction of Property. She was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center for processing and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner. (14-MSP-019748)

THEFT, DRUG ARREST, DISORDERLY: On Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 5:52 pm, Tpr. A. Oyler responded to the Walmart located in California for a reported theft. Loren Bliss Cyr, 31, of Hollywood, had attempted to leave the store with numerous items. Search incident to arrest revealed suspected heroin and paraphernalia. Ms. Cyr was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. She was charged according and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner. (14-MSP-019750)
