LEONARDTOWN, Md. (June 27, 2014)—The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) released the following incident and arrest reports.
ASSAULT - On Sunday, June 8, 2014 at 7:42 pm, Tpr. B. Weber responded to the 46000 block of Valley Court for a reported domestic assault. Investigation revealed that Heather Dawn Stills, 26, of Lexington Park had assaulted a male victim. Ms. Stills was arrested and charged with Assault-Second Degree. She was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center for processing and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner. (14-MSP-017071)
DRUG ARREST: On Monday, June 9, 2014 at 7:37 am, Cpl. M. Grimes initiated a traffic stop on a white passenger car on Asher Road and Cox Drive for a minor traffic infraction. A probable cause search was conducted, resulting in the recovery of CDS. The driver, James Edward Rines, 44, of Mechanicsville, was placed under arrest and charged with CDS: Possession - Marijuana. He was transported to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack for processing and later released. (14-MSP-017113)
DRUG ARREST: On Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at 12:18 am, Tpr. A. Oyler conducted a patrol check at the Charlotte Hall Park and Ride. Tpr. Oyler observed Eric Allen Mills, 21, of Charlotte Hall, and two other individuals skateboarding in the parking lot. Tpr. Oyler approached the individuals and detected the odor of CDS. Mr. Mills advised he was in possession of CDS and paraphernalia. Mr. Mills was placed under arrest, transported to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack for processing and later released. DRUG ARREST: On Friday, June 13, 2014 at 11:17 am, TFC E. Mersman initiated a traffic stop on a silver SUV on Route 235 and Route 245 for a minor traffic infraction. A probable cause search was conducted, resulting in the recovery of CDS. The driver, James Kirk Poston, 37, of Waldorf, was placed under arrest and charged with CDS: Possession - Marijuana and CDS: Possess Paraphernalia. He was transported to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack for processing and later released. (14-MSP-017603)
