CALLAWAY, Md. (June 24, 2014)—Jason Andrew Junge, 25, of Hollywood, is facing felony drug charges after police executed a search warrant on the man's home and found a significant amount of controlled drugs and cash. Local police were tipped off by the United States Postal Inspection Service after they discovered a package destined for St. Mary's County from the State of California containing a large quantity of marijuana. Junge was identified as the recipient of the package.

The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office Emergency Services Team, K-9 deputies, and Inspectors from the United States Postal Inspection Service executed the search and search warrant obtained by vice narcotics detectives. Police say they discovered more than one pound of high grade marijuana (street value of approximately $12, 600.00), mushrooms, hashish, over $7,300 in cash, approximately $240.00 in counterfeit currency, scales, packaging paraphernalia and evidence of other large shipments which were previously delivered to the home. Detectives also seized other alleged proceeds of Junge's drug distribution operation to include multiple electronics.

Junge was arrested and additional felony charges are pending a review with State's Attorney for St. Mary's County.
