Drug and Vice Arrests in St. Mary's Co.


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (June 9, 2014)—The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office Vice Narcotics Division released the following incident and arrest reports. The Division is an investigative team comprised of detectives from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office and Federal Drug Agents (HIDTA Group 34). The Division was established on September 1st, 2007.

PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION DISTRIBUTION: Detectives began an investigation into possible prescription medication distribution by two female suspects, Krystie Nicole Fleury, 37, Hollywood, and Amanda Arlene Parsley, 36, of California. Detectives observed both suspect travel to a physician in La Plata and another in Silver Spring where they obtained numerous oxycodone and diazepam tablets. Detectives followed the suspects back to Charlotte Hall where they made contact with a third person, Robert Allen Williams, 46, of Leonardtown. A transaction occurred and all three were detained and eventually arrested. Among the items seized were 72 oxycodone tablets, 28 diazepam tablets, related paraphernalia, cellular phones, and approximately $340 in cash. Additional charges are pending a review with the State's Attorney.

MARIJUANA, WARRANT: Detectives received information regarding possible drug activity in a Piney Point neighborhood. As a result of the investigation Joshua Lee Coleman, 29, of no fixed address, and Brittany Ann Vega, 20, of Piney Point, were located in the area of the neighborhood and found to be in possession of marijuana and related smoking devices. Additional controlled substances were found inside Vega's home. Both suspects were arrested and additional charges are pending. Suspect Coleman was also served an outstanding arrest warrant from Calvert County for Failure to Appear.

PRESCRIPTION FRAUD: Angela Marie Pace, 28, of Hollywood, was charged with Prescription Fraud and Altering a Prescription to Obtain a Controlled Substance. She was released and is currently awaiting trial.

Operation "Undivided Attention"

Members of the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office and their working partners conducted a two day operation resulting in multiple arrests. The operation, dubbed Operation Undivided Attention, was carried out on June 5th and 6th. Narcotics detectives, Support Team members, the Sheriff's Office Emergency Services Team, the COPS unit, the Baltimore field office of the FBI, Sheriff's Office Corrections Division, Agents from Parole and Probation, the St. Mary's County State's Attorney's Office, the Sheriff's Office K-9 deputies, patrol deputies, and detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division and Sexual Offender Compliance Unit teamed up for the operation.

The objective of the operation was to dismantle drug distribution networks, disrupt the overall drug trade, gain intelligence on open investigations and criminal activity, remove violent repeat offenders from the street, and ensure compliance of sexual offenders.

Arrests made as a result of the operation follow:

-- A search and seizure warrant was executed on a residence in the 45000 block of Foxchase Dr. in Lexington Park. Detectives have been purchasing marijuana at the home from Colvin Alexander Chase, 22. Upon entry, additional controlled substances were recovered to include marijuana, cocaine and PCP. Arrested was Colvin Alexander Chase, a/k/a "CC;" Angel Melissa Mason, a/k/a "Prune," 43;, Thomas Christopher White, 48; and Elston Howe Harvey, 47, of Sunderland. Additional charges are pending a review with the State's Attorney's Office.

-- Suspect Joseph Aloysius Toney, 32, was identified as a distributor of both cocaine and marijuana in the Lexington Park and Great Mills area. A search and seizure warrant was executed on his person and his residence located in the 46000 block of Rogers Drive. Nearly $800.00 in cash, a loaded handgun, cocaine, marijuana, and a digital scale were recovered. Suspect Toney, who is a convicted felon, is prohibited from possessing a firearm and he was arrested and charged with the drug and weapons violations. Detectives believe the weapon may be stolen and the investigation into the handgun status is ongoing.

-- A residence located on the 46000 block of Coronado Dr. in Great Mills was identified by detectives as a distribution point of cocaine. A search and seizure warrant was obtained and executed which led to the arrest of three occupants. Suspect Bobbie Tracy Bailey, 47, and Thyris Malissa Brown, 42, were arrested after a safe was recovered containing several hundred dollars worth of cocaine, money and a digital scale. Suspect Joseph Matthew Queen Jr., 22, was arrested after marijuana, packaging material and a digital scale was recovered from him. Suspect Bailey is a Tier III sexual offender. Additional charges are pending a review with the State's Attorney.

-- William Terrance Campbell, a/k/a "Funk," 38, of Lexington Park, was identified as a distributor of cocaine by detectives. A search and seizure warrant revealed suspect Campbell was in possession of cocaine, oxycodone, ecstasy, packaging materials, a digital scale, money and several cellular phones. Suspect Campbell was arrested and additional charges are pending a review with the State's Attorney.

-- Curtis Antonio Height, 45, of Lexington Park, was arrested for Distribution of Heroin. Suspect Height is a Tier III Register Sexual Offender.

-- Chanel Marie Adams, 32, of Piney Point, was arrested for multiple counts of Distribution of Oxycodone.

-- Tony Raymond Bean, 35, of California, was arrested for multiple counts of Distribution of Oxycodone as well as an indictment for a previous search warrant which a large quantity of controlled prescription medication was recovered.

-- Calverio Somerville, a/k/a "40," 25, of Lexington Park, was charged with Possession of Cocaine with the Intent to Distribute.

-- Alehandro Jerry Brown, a/k/a "Al," 41, of Lexington Park, multiple counts of Distribution of Cocaine.

-- Bradley Leon Hall, 36, of Drayden, was arrested for multiple counts of Distribution of Oxycodone

-- Gina Alma Holroyd, 38, of Drayden, was arrested for multiple counts of Distribution of Oxycodone.

-- William Joseph Kuykendall, a/k/a "Butterball," 34, of Lexington Park, was arrested for multiple counts of Distribution of Cocaine.

-- James Anthony Lawrence Jr., 35, of Mechanicsville, was arrested for Possession of Oxycodone with the Intent to Distribute.

-- John Edward Nunley, a/k/a "Snowman," 37, of Great Mills, charged with Possession of Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute.

-- William Russell Hobbs, 26, of Hollywood, was arrested for multiple counts of Distribution of Heroin.

-- Samuel Wayne Green, 20, of Leonardtown, was charged with Possession of Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute.

-- Joseph Henry Payne, 37, of Lexington Park, was charged with Possession of Cocaine with the Intent to Distribute. Suspect Payne is a Tier III Sex Offender.

-- Adam Christopher Kelson Jr., 28, of Lexington Park, was arrested on a Department of Corrections Violation of Parole. He was also charged with Robbery, Theft and Assault.

-- Henry Claggett Dent, 36, of Leonardtown, was charged with multiple indictments to include Prescription Fraud and Possession with the Intent to Distribute Oxycodone. Additional charges and arrests are pending.

-- John Joseph Eberwein, 19, of Avenue, was charged with Possession of Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute.

-- Stephen Lowell Morgan, 43, of Piney Point, was arrested for multiple counts of Distribution of Cocaine and Conspiracy to Distribute Cocaine.

-- James Thomas Somerville Jr., 55, of Loveville, was charged with Possession of Cocaine with the Intent to Distribute.

-- Linda Marie Short, 37, of Mechanicsville, arrested for Distribution of Hydrocodone.

-- William Johnson Quade Jr., 37, of Avenue, a Tier III sex offender, was arrested for Violation of Probation.

-- Brian Keith Stapleton, 27, of Great Mills, was arrested in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina on an open St. Mary's County Grand Jury Indictment for Possession of Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute. He is in the process of being returned to St. Mary's County to face trial.

-- Shawn Roosevelt Thompson, 33, of Chaptico, was charged with Possession of Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute.

-- Noreen Ann Vallandingham, 57, of Lexington Park, arrested for multiple counts of Distribution of Oxycodone.

-- Christopher Dwain Harrod, 29, of Lexington Park, was charged with Possession of Marijuana and related paraphernalia as a result of a search and seizure warrant.

-- Darnell Anthony Brice, 36, of Lexington Park, was arrested for multiple counts of Distribution of Cocaine. Suspect Brice was also served a criminal summons obtained by members of the COPS unit for trespassing.

-- Vaughn Jerome Chase, 47, of Lexington Park, was arrested for multiple counts of Distribution of Oxycodone and Distribution of Cocaine.

-- Devonte Arnez Shubrooks, 20, of St. Inigoes, a Tier III Sex Offender, was arrested for Failure to Provide a Correct Address.

-- Aubrey Robbie Robinson, 22, of Lexington Park, was arrested for Failure to Appear.

-- Charles Edward Danford, 40, of Great Mills, was observed by detectives in the area of St. John's Road in Hollywood and was known to be wanted. Deputies arrested him and discovered he was illegally in possession of suboxone. He was charged accordingly.

-- Damon Wayne Cutchember, a/k/a "Debo," 37, of Lexington Park, was charged with Possession of Oxycodone with the Intent to Distribute.

-- Raleigh Jermaine Dickerson, 39, of Lexington Park, was charged with Possession with the Intent to Distribute Marijuana.

-- Brendon Dirk Mydock, 25, of Union Town, Ohio was arrested for multiple counts of Distribution of Marijuana. He was located in Union Town, OH and is currently awaiting extradition to St. Mary's County.

-- Samuel Louis Parker, 51, of Mechanicsville, a Tier III sex offender, was arrested for Failure to Provide Employment Information.
