MSP Reports for St. Mary's Co.


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (May 30, 2014)—The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) released the following incident and arrest reports.

DRUG ARREST: On Wednesday, May 14 at 2:38 pm, TFC M. Pitcher initiated a traffic stop on a black passenger car on Old Village Road for a minor traffic infraction. A probable cause search was conducted, resulting in the recovery of CDS. The driver, Daniel Andrew White, 19, of Mechanicsville, was placed under arrest and charged with CDS: Possession - Marijuana and CDS: Possess Paraphernalia. He was transported to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack for processing and later released. (14-MSP-013620)

THEFT: On Wednesday, May 21 at 9:24 pm, TFC E. Mersman responded to the Food Lion located in Great Mills for a reported theft. Karen Colleen Dorsey, 31, of Lexington Park, and Yvonne Nicole Shaw, 31, of Great Mills, were arrested for Theft Less than $100 and transported to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack. Both subjects were charged accordingly and later released. (14-MSP-014535)

DRUG ARREST: On Saturday, May 24 at 4:05 pm, Tpr. C. Ruth initiated a traffic stop on a gray passenger car on Route 5 and Old Village Road for a minor traffic infraction. The driver, Tiffany Nicole Knight, 24, of Clinton, advised Tpr. Ruth that she had CDS in the vehicle. A probable cause search was conducted, resulting in the recovery of CDS. Ms. Knight was placed under arrest and charged with CDS: Possession - Marijuana and CDS: Possess Paraphernalia. She was transported to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack for processing later released. (14-MSP-014976)

ASSAULT: On Sunday, May 25 at 3:01 pm, TFC M. Pitcher responded to the 21000 block of Williams Drive for a domestic disturbance. Investigation revealed that Crystal Ann Ringdahl, 19, of Lexington Park had engaged in an altercation with a female victim at the residence and had assaulted the victim. Ms. Ringdahl was arrested for Assault - Second Degree and was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. She was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner. DRUG ARREST, DISORDERLY: On Monday, May 26 at 11:02 am, TFC M. Pitcher and Tpr. B. Young initiated a traffic stop on a black passenger car in the parking lot of the Auto Zone in Great Mills for a minor traffic infraction. As Tpr. Young was speaking with the driver, TFC Pitcher observed CDS in plain view in the vehicle. The driver, Robert Keemer Armstead 3rd, of Lexington Park, became disorderly. Mr. Armstead continued to act disorderly, drawing the attention of patrons to the Auto Zone. Mr. Armstead was placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct. A probable cause search was conducted, resulting in the recovery of CDS. Mr. Armstead was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center, where he was charged accordingly and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner. (14-MSP-015208)
