LEONARDTOWN, Md. (March 7, 2014)The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident and arrest reports.
FRAUD: On March 5, a victim who resides in Chaptico reported she attempted to file her state income taxes and discovered they had already been filed fraudulently and the refund had been issued. Case remains open. Case #12632-14.
BURGLARY: On March 5, a victim reported a burglary to her residence located in Mechanicsville. US Currency and other personal property were stolen. Case remains open and is being investigated by Corporal E. Johnson. Case #12669-14.
FRAUD: On March 5, a victim reported fraudulent charges made on her credit card after she lost it inside a convenience store in California. Case remains open and is being investigated by Deputy Logue. Case #12690-14.
DOMESTIC ASSAULT: On March 6, Deputy Murphy responded to MEDSTAR St. Mary's Hospital and made contact with a victim reporting an assault. The victim alleged that a known suspect assaulted the victim with a knife at a residence in Kimberly Lane in Leonardtown. The victim was able to gain control of the knife and cause injury to the suspect ending the assault. The suspect was located and taken to the hospital as well. The suspect was later flown to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening stab wounds. Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division assumed the investigation. Additional details will be released as they are developed. Case #12829-14.
DOMESTIC ASSAULT: On March 5, Deputy Flerlage met with a victim at sheriff's office headquarters in reference to an assault which occurred the night before. The victim alleged that suspect Ashley Marie Moore, 30, of Lexington Park, became angry over a phone call the victim received. Moore scratched and bit the victim before being restrained by other people in the residence. Deputy Flerlage observed evidence of injury on the victim. He located Moore and placed her under arrest. Moore was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and charged with 2nd Degree Assault.
TRESPASSING: On March 5, Deputy Cole responded to the Dew Drop Inn located in Hollywood for a reported trespassing complaint. The owner of the bar had repeatedly told suspect Jennifer Elaine Morgan, 42, of Lexington Park, to leave. Morgan appeared to be extremely intoxicated and was disturbing other customers. Deputy Cole asked Morgan to leave and she refused. Morgan was charged with Trespass: Private Property by Criminal Citation.
THEFT: On March 5, Deputy First Class Rogers responded to the Walmart in California for a theft. Loss Prevention personnel watched suspect Dana Ann Proctor, 46, of Lexington Park place unpaid for items in shopping bags at the self-checkout then leave the store. Proctor was charged with Theft Under $1,000 by Criminal Citation.

Ashley Rose Dean, 26, of no fixed address, arrested on 03/4/2014 for Theft Under $1000 by DFC Vezzosi
Krystal Nicole Phares, 26, of Lexington Park, arrested on 03/1/2014 for failure to appear in court by Deputy Lance
Melissa Ann Ford, 37, of Lexington Park, arrested on 03/2/2014 for Contempt of court by Deputy Fennessey
Ericka Kathrynn Hillegass, 38, of Valley Lee, arrested on 02/28/2014 for failure to appear in court by Corporal Kirkner
