Charles Co. Sheriff's Reports


LA PLATA, Md. (March 7, 2014)—The Charles County Sheriff's Office released the following incident and arrest reports.

THEFT: On March 6 at 2:49 a.m., officers responded to the 4000 block of Tahoe Place in Waldorf for the report of a theft. Unknown persons took four wheels and rims from a Chevrolet Suburban and then left the vehicle on landscaping pavers. PFC S. Weedon is investigating.

DRUG ARREST: On March 5 at 1:25 a.m., Officer A. Fenlon was patrolling the area of Dartmouth Road in Waldorf when he observed two males standing near the end of the roadway. Officer Fenlon approached the men at which time he detected a strong odor of marijuana. Officer Fenlon investigated further and found seven sandwich size bags of marijuana in one man’s book bag and another bag of marijuana in his pocket. He also found numerous empty bags and a digital scale. Joshua Jartavus Donaldson, 27, of Waldorf, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute drugs, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.



CRIME SOLVERS CASE: Charles County Crime Solvers is offering a cash reward for information leading to the whereabouts of Jonathan Edward Hughes, 27, who has no fixed address. Hughes currently has outstanding warrants charging him with first-degree burglary, fourth-degree burglary, and theft. He is 5'9", 140 lbs., and has brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information about Jonathan Hughes' whereabouts is asked not to approach him but rather call the CCSO Warrant Unit at (301) 932-2222.
