MSP Reports for St. Mary's Co.


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Feb. 19, 2014)—The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) released the following incident and arrest reports.

FORGERY, DRUG ARREST: On Friday, January 24, 2014 at 5:20 pm, Tpr. C. Ruth responded to the Wal-Mart located in California for a reported forgery. Allen Grant Lape, 35, of California had attempted to alter a prescription for CDS. Mr. Lape was placed under arrest for Forging/Altering Prescription for CDS. A search incident to arrest led to the recovery of a pill bottle containing additional CDS. Mr. Lape was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

DRUG ARREST: On Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 12:54 am, TFC N. Gresko initiated a traffic stop on a silver passenger car on Route 245 at Tin Top Hill Lane for a minor traffic infraction. The driver, Reid Alan Daniels, 24, of Hollywood, informed TFC Gresko that he had CDS and paraphernalia in the vehicle. Mr. Daniels was subsequently arrested and charged with Possession of CDS: Marijuana and Possession of CDS: Paraphernalia. He was transported to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack for processing and later released.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 2:07 pm, Trooper S. Gallagher served a Bench Warrant (T3-15959) on Jorge Christian Lagares, 29, of Leonardtown. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of Theft Less $1000. Mr. Lagares was located in Leonardtown and placed under arrest. Search incident to arrest led to the recovery of CDS and paraphernalia. Mr. Lagares was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was charged with Possession of CDS: Not Marijuana and Possession of CDS: Paraphernalia. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT: On Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 7:58 pm, Senior Trooper E. Evans responded to the 21000 block of Chancellors Run Road for a reported assault. Investigation revealed that Harry Magruder Lang, 33, of Great Mills had engaged in an altercation with a female victim at the residence and had assaulted the victim. Mr. Lang was arrested for Assault Second Degree and was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

DRUG ARREST: On Friday, February 7, 2014 at 9:45 am, TFC N. Gresko initiated a traffic stop on a gray passenger car on Route 235 at Buck Hewitt Road for a minor traffic infraction. The driver, Torian Taylor Luckett, 18, of Great Mills, informed TFC Gresko that he had CDS in the vehicle. Mr. Luckett was subsequently arrested and charged with Possession of CDS: Marijuana and Possession of CDS: Paraphernalia. He was transported to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack for processing and later released.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 9:40 pm, Tpr D. Buckalew served a Bench Warrant (T-316337) on Gabriela Espinosa-Fonseca, 26, of Lexington Park. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of Knowingly Driving Uninsured Vehicle. Ms. Espinosa-Fonseca was located in Clements. She was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. She was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

DRUG ARREST, WARRANT SERVICE: On Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 12:00 pm, TFC J. Gibson served two Bench Warrants (T3-16369 and T3-16370) on Gary David Guiles, 53, of Mechanicsville. The warrants were issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with original charges of CDS Possess Marijuana and Paraphernalia. Mr. Guiles was located in Mechanicsville and placed under arrest. Search incident to arrest led to the recovery additional of CDS and paraphernalia. Mr. Guiles was transported to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack where he was charged with Possession of CDS: Marijuana and Possession of CDS: Paraphernalia. He was then transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center, where he was served with the warrants and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Sunday, February 9, 2014 at 10:59 am, TFC N. Gresko served a Bench Warrant (T3-16338) on Angela Marie Howe, 41, of Mechanicsville. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of Second Degree Burglary. Ms. Howe was located in Mechanicsville. She was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. She was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Sunday, February 9, 2014 at 1:10 pm, TFC J. Gibson served a Bench Warrant (T-316367) on Michael John Courville, 25, of Mechanicsville. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of Knowingly Driving Uninsured Vehicle. Mr. Courville was located in Mechanicsville. He was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at 6:36 am, TFC N. Gresko and Senior Trooper E. Evans served two Bench Warrants (T3-16322 and T3-16365) on Robert Anthony Robinson, 45, of Lexington Park. The warrants were issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with original charges of DWI. Mr. Robinson turned himself in to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack. He was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at 1:45 pm, TFC E. Reuschling served a Bench Warrant (T3-16366) on Peter Brady O'Neil, 41, of Newburg. The warrant was issued by the Circuit Court for St. Mary's County with an original charge of Unauthorized Removal of Property. Mr. O'Neil was located in Newburg. He was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Friday, February 14, 2014 at 5:15 pm, Cpl S. Murphy served an Arrest Warrant (T3-16371) on Henry Michael Dean, 25, of Ridge. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with charges of Theft Scheme $10,000 to under $100,000, 54 counts of Forgery, and 56 counts of Theft. Mr. Dean turned himself in to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack. He was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
