LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Feb. 7, 2014)The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) released the following incident and arrest reports.
CAR THEFT: On December 13, 2013 members from the Maryland State Police-Criminal Enforcement Division were contacted in reference to the theft of a 2006 Chrysler 300C SRT-8 from a victim in St. Mary's County. Through a collaborate effort with the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office, St. Mary's County States Attorney's Office and the White County Sheriff's Office, located in Cleveland, Georgia, a suspect was identified and located.
Through investigation, it was learned that the suspect used 1st Class Auto Sales to facilitate the theft. An arrest warrant was obtained and on Monday, February 3, 2014, TFC Mersman from the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack served the arrest warrant on the suspect. The suspect was identified as William Elliott Mitchell Jr. of Avenue. Mitchell was charged with theft and was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center pending a bond hearing with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Wednesday, January 29 at 5:50 pm, Trooper E. Krenik served a Bench Warrant (T3-16344) on Mary Theresa Simonetta, 53, of Lexington Park. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of Driving While Suspended. Ms. Simonetta was located in Lexington Park. She was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. She was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Thursday, January 30 at 1:06 am, TFC N. Gresko served a Bench Warrant (T3-16332) on Kirk Vondel Swales, 31, of Mechanicsville. The warrant was issued by the Circuit Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of Assault Second Degree. Mr. Swales turned himself in to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack. He was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
THEFT: On Thursday, January 30 at 6:21 pm, TFC M. Pitcher responded to the Kohl's Department Store located in Lexington Park for a reported theft. Adam Silcott Roberts, 21, of Lexington Park was arrested and charged with Theft Less Than $1,000. He was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Saturday, February 1 at 2:07 pm, Trooper S. Gallagher served a Bench Warrant (T3-15959) on Jorge Christian Lagares, 29, of Leonardtown. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of Theft Less $1000. Mr. Lagares was located in Leonardtown. He was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Sunday, February 2 at 6:45 pm, Senior Trooper E. Evans served a Bench Warrant (T3-16357) on Christina Lynn Rivas, 40, of Hollywood. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of CDS Possess - Not Marihuana. Ms. Rivas was located at the St. Mary's County Detention Center. She was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Monday, February 3 at 12:03 pm, TFC E. Mersman served an Arrest Warrant (T3-16355) on William Elliott Mitchell Jr, 49, of Avenue. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of Theft $10,000 to Under $100,000. Mr. Mitchell turned himself in to the Maryland State Police, Leonardtown Barrack. He was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Monday, February 3 at 10:33 pm, Tpr. S. Gallagher and Senior Trooper E. Evans served two Bench Warrants (T3-16361, T3-16362) on Kimberly Bernice Bowles, 39, of California. The warrants were issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with original charges of Peace Order: Fail to Comply. Ms. Bowles was located in California. She was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. She was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Wednesday, February 5 at 2:20 pm, Tpr. C. Ruth and Tpr. K. Morris served two Bench Warrants (T3-16348, T3-16275) on Amy Rebecca Dunlap, 46, of Mechanicsville. The warrants were issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with original charges of Forgery and Driving While Intoxicated. Ms. Dunlap was located at the St. Mary's County Detention Center. She was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
